Great company

Home Instead has been such a blessing to my family. The care that [name removed] provides my Uncle is literally second to none. She is so loving and kind with him but she also hold him accountable which is exactly what he needs. He often mentions to me that she is the best thing that has happened to him since his illness. My Family Experience: Would Recommend

It would have been all 5's, but the last lady to work with my mom showed up as she was having a stroke. Thank God my sister was there too. The care giver kept saying she didn't know what to do, and didn't even want to be there. Not very professional to complain about having to work in front of a client, let a lone when the client is having a stroke.

Best Decision

When my dad needed a caregiver, we were fortunate to be matched with[ Name Removed]. She has become much more than a caregiver—she feels like a trusted member of our family.Because I live out of state, I often worried about my dad living alone and not having the support he needed.[Name Removed] has eased that burden tremendously. She makes sure he has meals prepared and easily accessible, reminds him to take his medications, and encourages him to get up and move around instead of sitting in front of the TV all day. They enjoy great conversations, and I can tell how much he appreciates her. In fact, he misses her when she’s not there. Most importantly, [Name Removed] keeps me informed about my dad’s health and well-being, which gives me tremendous peace of mind. Caregiving

My husband has gotten wonderful care from his caregiver. And home instead. They are always there when needed and provide necessary.Items or information concerning things that are available to us and help us connect with other places that can provide needed items . The young man that comes in and stays with my husband provides him with Support and company. By having this help, it allows me to get things done like going to the grocery or even staying at home. Paying bills. So that I don't have to be with my husband or worry about him.Being alone. I really appreciate everything.This company and his caregiver has done for him.

A True Gift to Our Family

We cannot adequately express our gratitude for the extraordinary care [name removed] provided to our mother during the last years of her life. [name removed] respected our mom's need for independence and empowered her to live with dignity on her own terms. They shared a beautiful connection through music. [name removed] took mom to live music events and they spent evenings together listening to old tunes, creating joy in the simplest, most meaningful ways. She welcomed our mother into her own family, sharing Thanksgiving and Christmas meals that made these occasions all the more special. Lifesavers!

I am so thankful to the excellent caregivers at Home Instead! When my 84-year-old mother (who lives alone) broke her hip and was discharged from rehab, she still needed lots of help. We had very little notice that she would be sent home, and I was so worried about how she was going to manage. Home Instead stepped up instantly - within minutes they'd assigned caregivers to assist my mother every day of the week. They have an excellent website where you can see the whole caregiver schedule in advance, which offers real piece of mind for all family members managing care for older relatives. My mother was so happy with the care she received. Each person who came to the house was competent, caring, and considerate. I am so thankful to the services that Home Instead provides and I cannot recommend them enough!

It's difficult because every family and situation is different. It's a difficult situation to ask strangers into your home and be involved in one's life on a personal level for a short period of time which was our situation. I guess it becomes easier if the same care givers are assigned but our biggest problem was they sent too many different card givers each week. [name removed] finally asked them to not send so many new care givers each week as we would have to retrain them on what to do or not do each time. It seems their business is always short staffed which is why they had to schedule so many new people each week. Too many different caregivers required because we needed a care giver everyday for two different 3 hour shifts morning and evening. This created a staffing problem because they didn't have enough personnel to easily provide the same care givers each day.

Disappointed that it costs so much for 2 nights a week. Looking for a way to not spend nights to cut down hours. Having someone just sit here through the night in case his sugar goes low and making his supper seems like alot of money.
