The management and staff take a personal interest in the residents, and look for ways to engage and encourage them including personal touches like hanging pictures for them. Overall the facility is clean and welcoming, as are the other residents. The facility does have some renovation occurring and some of the spaces are need of a little updating, but they are safe and easily navigated. I would say food options may be the one non-5 star rating issue, but that may just take a better understanding of how to get the options a certain way. The one bedroom apartment has a small full kitchen that is a little cramped if using a wheel chair or walker, the bedroom is a lovely size for a full bed, dresser, nightstand and oversized chair. The closet and bathroom are accessible, even with a mobility aid. The living room area is large enough for a sofa and wing backed chairs, small dining area and entertainment center with room to spare. Management and staff are viable and active and really caring and kind as well as competent.

Reasonably pleasant staff and services while they navigate the change from the previous company to Seaton. Capital City Nurses is no longer stationed there I believe. They could improve with the maintenance staff and access to other home aide services.

She doesn't like the food. The apartment is fine. However, I've been trying to get in touch with the finance and they haven't returned my calls or emails - communication is my biggest concern.

My father-in-law loved the condo like atmosphere. The other ALF's only offered a studio. Seaton had a one-bedroom, den, living room and a small kitchen. None of the other facilities offered this. The location is close to our home. The staff is amazing. They have dining rooms on each floor. They even have happy hour for the residents. The residents are treated with dignity and respect. It is like being at home for my father-in-law. Initially he was reluctant to go. He likes the food, his freedom and the staff.

Very nice, spacious rooms plenty of things to offer. Parking space for mom’s car, hair salon for her hair care. Nice dining area. Mom can bring some of her furniture to make it more at home for her. Friendly staff that’s always makes your move at ease. Health and wellness on premises is always good. Very nice and clean.

In January of this year, due to a medical situation involving my 98-year-old mother, our family was faced with the important decision of finding a senior living community that could provide not only the appropriate level of care, but also a safe, supportive, and professional environment. From our very first visit, it was clear that Seaton Senior Living Community met—and exceeded—that standard. During that visit, we had the pleasure of meeting[Name Removed] and [Name removed] As Sales Directors, their knowledge and professionalism were immediately evident, and while those qualities were expected given their roles, what stood out most was their genuine care and attentiveness. Based on that initial experience, we made the decision to move my mother into the community with confidence—while still naturally wondering how she would adapt. Now, four months later, I can say without hesitation that my mother is thriving. She is happy, has built meaningful friendships with what she calls “her crew,” and is fully engaged in the community. The staff has consistently demonstrated a high level of professionalism, kindness, and responsiveness—not only to her needs, but also to any concerns our family may have. The overall atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and uplifting. What stands out most is the visible happiness and engagement of the residents. [Names removed] have continued to demonstrate the same professionalism and care that we experienced during our initial meeting—if not more. They are always accessible and address every concern with a level of attentiveness and compassion that reflects how one would care for their own family member. I have also had the opportunity to join my mother for meals in the dining area, and I must say—the experience is exceptional. From the quality of the food to the level of service, it often feels comparable to a five-star dining experience. What truly sets it apart, however, is the demeanor of the dining staff. Their kindness, patience, and genuine care for the residents is something that is rarely seen, even in the finest establishments. The grace and professionalism they display while serving the seniors is both impressive and deeply appreciated. Seaton Senior Living Community truly lives up to the phrase—“A Place for Mom.”

This was a temporary stay for my sister. Aside from it being very expensive, she was happy with the food and enjoyed the other people. My other sister and I had trouble communicating with the staff. They hardly ever answered the phone.

We've had a great experience with Aspenwood-- my mom loves it. The service is very good, the building is in good shape, and events and social activities are engaging and enjoyable.

Staff is wonderful. Food is good. I can't comment on activities but my sister is very happy with all the services there. She gets transportation to a local art class once a week and goes to the movies offered at aspenwood. Nursing staff is attentive and reliable, as well as caring. Her apartment is cleaned regularly and if she needs anything staff respond.

Overall it was a very good experience. The facility is a bit older than others in the area, but the staff is very friendly and accommodating. I would definitely recommend Aspenwood Senior Living Community to other families looking.

The staff members at Aspenwood Senior Living are professional, friendly and attentive to residents' and families' needs. Aspenwood's capacity to administer medications helped me tremendously. Also, having medical doctors scheduled to attend to the residents is also helpful. I've dined with my cousin in the dinning room and I enjoyed that experience. Residents receive memos on various topics when necessary, bulletin boards are updated weekly. I receive notices in the mail regarding important changes. Housekeeping is done regularly. I highly recommend Aspenwood Senior Living and the services and care that they offer.

Eight months ago, after a long mostly disappointing search for senior living, we happily discovered Aspenwood Senior Living Community. Most other places either were way out of our budget or only offered one bedroom apartments. At Aspenwood, we are able to afford a beautiful two bedroom apartment with a particularly lovely view of the grounds and the nearby woodlands. Our first encounter with staff and other residents was delightful and continues to be every day. People are always helpful and friendly. We have lived here for 7 months and wonder why we waited so long and struggled for two years with my husband’s Parkinson’s and its manifestations. We feel safe and cared for, with a very attentive staff and great medical practitioners. We’ve made many friends and are active in the community and participate in the many activities that are available daily. I highly recommend Aspenwood Senior Living Community

The quality of care, friendly staff, and food are great. Even though the facility is in need of some renovation it's still being maintained very well. The staff was super nice and welcoming from the initial visit and so was the residents so it made her feel right at home.

The experience is good. The administrative personnel are probably the worst as many seem unknowledgeable, but the other staff (front desk, dining, cleaners, etc) are kind and helpful. We picked it because of the unique mix of assisted and independent living options. We were able to choose independent but also have the option to add any additional assisted tasks, as needed, for separate additional costs.
