There is a Registered Nurse on-call 24/7. The Medical Director and PA are available for call and on site.<br>Rehab Care provides on-site personal therapy such as: physical, occupational and speech therapy. <br><br>Dietary Care<br>Avita Assisted Living and Memory Care at Rolling Hills has one mission, to exceed expectations. As a team, we listen to our residents. This is the foundation of our mission. From there, we create a menu, based on their expectations. <br><br>Therapy<br>Rehab Care provides on-site personal therapy. The professional staff consists of certified physical therapists who are dedicated to applying innovative clinical pathways that ensure each patient receives the utmost in care, on a personalized level.<br><br>Special Events<br>Special Events at Avita include various musical performances, holiday parties, clothiers’ shows, and fine dining experiences. We also offer educational presentations on a number of topics including health, technology, history, and more.<br><br>Spiritual Growth Opportunities<br>At Avita, there are a number of spiritual growth opportunities throughout the week, including two weekend church services held in our very own chapel. <br><br>Outings<br>To coincide with the events at Avita, there are also opportunities to attend events and outings within the community, which include performing arts series, bus tours and trips to various restaurants and stores.<br><br>Games and Other Activities<br>Many residents enjoy playing a variety of games that include Kinect Bowling, Billiards, Cards, Bingo, and Dominoes. <br><br>Memory Care <br><br>Staff Training: Staff are specifically selected and trained to work with dementia residents. Training covers the stages and types of dementia, activities, approach and engagement, medication management, validation therapy and person centered care. There is a high staff to resident ratio to ensure safety and quality of care.<br><br>Healthy Design: Solariums are designed to maximize stimulation while allowing residents to be bathed in natural light. <br><br>Spa Room: Memory care has personal access to a spa room with the whirl pool system, our staff assist the residents in enjoying a warm bath.<br><br>Secured Courtyards: Courtyards are accessible during daylight hours and fully visible through the sunrooms so that staff may provide continued security. The pathways and plants help residents continue to engage each day with an array of their senses.<br><br>Secure Access: Select a personal family code for security and convenience. The memory care center is designed to provide maximum visual oversight for resident safety. Additionally, exits are fully controlled at two points to ensure resident safety. A security camera system is in place to assist in monitoring activity.<br>Support Group: Alzheimer support group meetings on site.<br><br>Therapy: Our professional staff consists of certified therapists who are dedicated to improving the life of each patient on a personalized level. Therapy services are provided by Rehab Care.
