Our family will always be grateful for the love and care our mother received at Camas Hills Care Home. She lived there for the last four years of her life, and it truly felt like family — not only to her, but to all of us. The home was always clean and welcoming, and the home-cooked meals were wonderful. Most importantly, the environment was loving, attentive, and compassionate. We always had peace of mind knowing she was safe, respected, and genuinely cared for. We can’t thank the staff enough for everything they did for our mom and our family.

Camas Hills Care Home may be one of the most comfortable retirement communities in the Vancouver area. Our surroundings are modern but maintain a sense of inviting, traditional style that our residents recognize and appreciate. We have outdoor seating areas under our gorgeous gazebo where you can take a load off, read a book or a magazine, or relax with a friend or your beloved pet. You’ll notice that not only are staff members more than welcome to tend to our residents’ needs, but that this focused care translates to a high morale amongst those who call Camas Hills their home.

I have been very happy with my mothers care. The staff is kind, compassionate, and patient. I couldn't have her in a better place. The prices are fair and reasonable. The home is well maintained. My mother is happy and enjoys all the other residents.

Our elderly father lived at Camas Hills Care Home for almost five years (until he passed away at the age of 90). We so admired and respected the caregivers and the owner. They knew exactly how to deal with dad's personality. He could be cranky and obstinate but he clearly loved them. He would tease them and they would tease him right back. So cute. They were very caring and provided advice to us when we needed it. We were so very thankful that we placed dad in their care.

My Mother lived at Camas Hills for the last four years of her life. She was cared for with skill and love. I highly recommend this facility. It is clean and attractive and the meals are nourishing. The staff is attentive and kind.

Having tried large and medium sized care-giving environments for my mom, I am so grateful that Camas Hills Care Home was recommended to me. Their caring staff communicates with us regularly, makes really helpful suggestions, and are just generally nice to be around. I appreciate that my mom is so much more relaxed here. And, she likes the food!

We moved my mother to Camas Hills Care Home a couple of years ago now. She had lived at another bigger care facility that cared for around 50 people before the move. The bigger place was fine back when she could get around and needed little help from the staff. As she started needing more care they just were dropping the ball all the time plus jacking the rates to about double in seven years. So we moved to Camas Hills and could not be happier with the owner and the care givers. I live close by and go see mom about five times a week. They feel like family to me. It's very much a home for mom and not a warehouse for mom. She seems aways clean, happy and full of life living there and she is now 100 years old. My wife mom moved there for her end of live care and again the staff worked so hard to make her last days happy ones. If you have someone who is loud and has a bad temper don't bother trying to move there. I've never seen those issues in there care home. It's a nice place!!

My Mother has been a resident at Camas Hills Care for the last three years b/c of her latent dementia. The most important thing for me was personal attention and high quality care as a real person, home cooked meals and a homey and comfortable atmosphere. This residence has it all. The care givers are very skilled as well as gentle and kind. At Christmas, [name removed], the owner comes over and brings my Mom a gift and sits with her to open it. This was never asked for and it touched my heart. If you want to find a place where you can trust that care and compassion are genuine, I highly recommend this facility.

Both my mother and my father lived with [name removed] and her family in this beautiful home in Camas. They received hands on daily care and were very comfortable and happy here. We had my mother in a residential home earlier and it was not a good experience for her. Thank goodness we were lucky enough to move them here. Both parents loved it and were very comfortable . The food was the best and the home is super clean. They so enjoyed spending time on the peaceful deck and having family over to enjoy it also. I highly recommend!

My father lived at Camas Hills for nearly [dates removed] and he was well cared for during his stay. It is a difficult decision and step in one's life to leave your family home and move into an entirely new living arrangement. The staff's friendliness and compassion helped to ease this transition for my dad. There was a nice sense of community in this home with residents spending time together in the common living area, sharing meals and friendships. [name removed] and the staff kept me informed on my father's condition and did their best to keep him comfortable and I alway felt secure that my father was being well care for.

My grandfather spent his final months here. It's a beautiful clean home with great staff. He really loved spending time on the deck enjoying the view. He also liked the meals. Staff was always available, loving, and caring, but gave us privacy.

My dad was cared for at Camas Hills Care Home when he could no longer stay in his home. He received excellent care and soon felt at home. He enjoyed his meals and soon gained much needed weight. They cared for him with loving care as he entered hospice. I also felt supported.

Our mother had dementia and needed more care. Camas Hills Care Home was recommended and we were pleased with the attention she received there. No matter when we stopped in for a visit, Mom was always clean & properly dressed. The home likewise was always neat & clean. The caregivers were always on top of everything and knew the needs of each resident. At that point in Mom's life, this care home was a blessing for her. Mom was able to receive hospice care there, too.

I think everyone who has loving parents wishes they didn’t have to place them outside of their own family. At least that was the case for me. The team at Camas Hills Care Home provided loving care to my Mom and Dad that I simply could not do because of their complex needs. [name removed] background as a pharmacy tech, [name removed] experience as a Chaplain, and[name removed] compassionate daily care, along with Peace Health Home Care and Hospice services created a wonderful multidisciplinary care team. I was able to be the daughter even though I am a nurse administrator. I am eternally grateful! Judy

Myself and my siblings could not have been more comfortable with a Senior Home for my mother. The care was excellent, food was wonderful and the atmosphere superb. [names removed] were great with my Mom in all aspects of her care. My mother had dementia and could only feed herself. They provided all aspects of her care with dignity and provided a loving family life for her. We were very satisfied.

They are honest and straight forward. They are Christian based but not overt about it. The workers have a very strong faith which leads to trust and high integrity. They are very friendly, I text to check in and they are very good at helping families stay connected with photos and chats. They just love the elderly, they are so caring. They have great home cooked, delicious meals.
