Making our lives easier

Caring companions has done everything they said they would do plus more. Anytime we have an issue or emergency request they get back to me very quickly with a solution. All the caretakers have been kind and helpful. We had one person that didn’t really match up with our parents, not because they couldn’t do the job, just not a good fit. Caring Companions handled it with dignity and found someone who was a better fit. They have made our lives easier and we trust them in all they do for us

Made New Friends

Most of the caregivers were good but there were a few that Mom did not care for and requested to not return. Overall experience was positive. I wish that the caregivers were a bit more skilled. There were 3 or 4 that were phenomenal and we may have raised our expectations because of their excellent work.

What we were looking for

Providing 24/7 care for a mostly bedridden elderly woman has to be a demanding task to staff. For the most part the caregivers have been very good. There are a few caregivers that are just outstanding. The scheduling took a while to get under control but it has definitely improved. It is very very expensive and is really a last resort.

Relief

They were very accommodating. When other places had 6-month long waiting lists, they were able to help us right away. Their staff were very friendly and personable. They managed the care of my loved one well, and their caregivers gave plenty of personal attention and were always accessible.
