<h3>Living Arrangements</h3>
<p>At Collier Park, we provide each resident with a variety of open-concept, wheelchair-accessible floor plans to choose from. Spacious, private studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom apartments are available, all equipped with full kitchens or kitchenettes. Select units even include private balconies. Your pets are welcome, too! They are family after all.</p>

<h3>Care Types Offered</h3>
<p>Collier Park is a <em>Type A assisted living facility</em>. In the state of Texas, these terms are defined as follows:</p>
<h3>Assisted Living Facility</h3>
<p>A facility that provides personal care services and administration of medication to 4 or more residents. Assisted living facilities can accept residents with dementia and/or Alzheimer’s. There are 3 types of assisted living facilities:</p>
<p><strong>Type A:</strong> A facility that may provide room and board to residents who are physically and mentally capable of evacuating the facility unassisted.<br>
<strong>Type B:</strong> A facility that may provide room and board to residents who need assistance evacuating, are incapable of following directions under emergency conditions, require staff attendance during nighttime sleeping hours, and require assistance transferring to and from a wheelchair.<br>
<strong>Type C (Adult Foster Care):</strong> 4-bed facilities that meet the minimum standards and rules for enrollment in the Department of Aging and Disability Services’ Adult Foster Care home program. The facility provides supervision and personal care services to residents.</p>
