The only issue we had was when the refund came for the week and a half not used the check was written to the patient that was in the care center and not to us. It was not her money. It was my husband's and my money. When we called the facility, they said well that's the way we do it and they wouldn't change it. So it took a lot of hassle to get our money refunded. We had to have her sister sign the check because she had power of attorney over her sister. And we were not going to send a signed check through the mail so we had to go about 300 miles to go retrieve the money. That was our biggest issue. When we wrote the check, we said this was our money and the administrator acknowledged that but yet they wrote the check to the patient.
