Very clean, nice atmosphere. Staff was very nice and explained how their system works-food, activities, medication needs, everything. This facility is top notch and is high on the list.

Do not place a loved one here

1. Rate 1 - I would never put anyone there with the current administration. They lied to your face and I reported them to the ombudsman. 2. Rate 3 - they were pretty clean but my father lost his partials and no one found them. 3. Rate 3 - some of them were friendly but some were only friendly to your face so you would go away 4. Rate 1- Some people were never dressed. My father was freezing and they had him in shorts and those weren't even his clothes. They herded people into a tv room so they didn't have to do anything. They never had the people participate in any activities, like arts, singing, etc. One day my dad only had on one shoe because he was so swollen and went to lunch and they didn't even notice or care. 5. Rate 1 - They were not honest and only cared about getting your money. So much I could say here. 6. Rate 2 - My aunt actually tasted this and said it was aweful. 7. Rate 1 - They have a room and an outdoor area but the craft room was never used and the outdoors appears to be for looks. 8. Rate 1- this place was a total ripoff. It costs way too much for admission and the monthly cost is way too high for non-care. They also recommended a hospice company and when my father had his issues they blamed the hospice company and said they never recommended them. However, when I put that timeline of events together hospice was the only one who did anything except call the ambulance. I think your company should investigate these places more and in person before you recommend them.

Chapters Living of Tulsa

The building is relatively new and in a good location. The staff is friendly and fairly prompt. The seem to be caring of the residents although I've never seen any recreation other than tv rooms and a nice library that is used mostly for group visits. The place is very clean and virtually odor free. The food could use a little help even though the regimented schedule has mom putting on weight. Seems a bit pricey but is about half the price of round the clock home care.

Overall would recommend for memory care

Everyone on staff was responsive and helpful. Between them and hospice nurses. Etc. I feel my wife is well taken care of. They are good about keeping everything clean. I would recommend them to others who searching for care for a memory care patient.

Needing a 2nd home for a loved one

Chapters Living of Tulsa is a smaller facility than most, only 40+ residents. The present admin & mkt person are working to improve the location and esthetics with repairs, painting, new furniture, etc. since taking over the building a relatively short time ago. The floor staff is great and caring. They are actively looking for an activities director. The building is clean and no hint of "odors".

Residence Free to Roam Safely

I think it's great. I found Mom a nice place. My dad passed away as soon as he got in there Mom she loves the place at chapter living. They just care about the residence and that if they can go, if they can move on their own, they're welcome to walk anywhere around the place, not tied down in one spot.

Well, this is my first experience, nothing to compare. I have been impressed so far. All the ladies are very attentive to the patients. Usually very clean. She is in a shared room and has plenty of space. I don't know about activities.

Highly Recommended

It is not a huge facility so the personnel knows everyone. It has always been very clean and tidy when we visit. They keep the patients on a schedule ie breakfast, lunch and dinner at the same time. The food is good and varied. They come in and clean Moms room, she is always clean ( though she complains when they have her shower it is a little cool!). They have a craft room where they can go. We are very happy she is in Known Memory Care.

I felt like they continually lied. They were not attentive to the residents. They herded them into a tv room and all the employees spent most of their time on their phones. Not much interaction at all except for herding them to dinner. No activities for residents and I never saw outside churches or singing.

It’s very clean. Rooms were clean and good sized. Those employed were all very kind. The residents knew all their names and came by to say hi. Everyone seemed content. There were several places where they can go outside and enjoy the fresh air safely. The areas were set up neatly and enclosed.

We really do like the place. They have been great with her so far! They are now called Chapters Living. absolutely recommend this place. It is the cleanest facility of its kind I have ever been in. They keep the residents out of their rooms and interacting with each other so they aren't isolated and lonely.

Experience with the 2 Women Directors

My Aunt was a resident at the Chapters of memory Care Facility for four years. The facility was very clean very nice and all of the caregivers at the facility where most caring and empathetic to my aunt's situation. There were several instances that her belongings would not be there or would be in or on another resident even though her name was clearly written on everything we brought her . I am very disappointed in the actions of the 2 women that run the facility. My Aunt passed away very recently and I would have thought as we gathered her things that an empathetic word or two may have sputtered out of their mouths. As to my dismay, there was nothing and I mean not one word spoke to my family , my uncle especially . One women was more interested in her phone and ignored the entire situation. It is very upsetting to see that these women have become complacent in their jobs. Not even a "Sorry for your loss" was uttered from their mouths.

Things to consider before placing a loved one in this facility.

The administrator and her admin are very hateful not only to residents, they are hateful to the family as well. They say they do each person's laundry and never wash it with other residents. That is a lie. My mom is missing clothes and has other people's clothes. My mom complains about the food being awful. They do not do any kind of activity to keep the residents minds active. One finds themselves in a catch 22 with these types of facilities.

Every facility has their problems and their own issues. That being said, I had no real problem overall with Known Memory Care. They presented themselves of having a lot of activity for their residence, but that was more like once every couple of weeks. Otherwise, they sat and watched old programs on TV Fell asleep in there, wheelchairs and ate that was the jest of their days.

The facility is clean, and residents are always dressed and well cared for. The staff are very busy, so sometimes personal items go missing and are not always found. Accidents can happen, and mobility may be affected as a result. The staff are always kind, and residents seem to respond well to them.

The staff and facility are great. Very clean, and very friendly. Very clean. I do wish there was more communication as far as treatment. Maybe even a portal. I have no idea when Dad sees a doctor. I have no idea when he gets a haircut. The little things...When does he need TP, toothpaste, deodorant. The reason for my feedback is that Dad is a new resident and I am not familiar with the process. I don't want phone calls, but an email periodically would be welcomed.
