ALP-provision of housing with services, which may include but are not limited to health-related care, personal care, and assistance with instrumental activities of daily living, to three or more tenants in a physical structure, which provides a homelike environment. Includes encouragement of family involvement, tenant self-direction and tenant participation in decisions.</p>
<p><strong>Assisted Living Programs for People with Dementia (ALP/D)</strong><br>
Dementia-specific assisted living program - a program that serves fewer than 55 tenants and has 5 or more tenants with dementia between Stages 4 and 7 on the Global Deterioration Scale or serves 55 or more tenants and 10 percent or more of the tenants have dementia between Stages 4 and 7 on the Global Deterioration Scale or holds itself out as providing specialized care for persons with dementia in a dedicated setting.</p>
