It's a nice place peaceful and we have events Bingo we have Bible studies. Watch tv on your floor and relax there. To me it's amazing and tacos place If they love Burgers king it's near. Oh yeah family dollar store not far. They would love the laundry room. You can bring your pet if you have one. I've meet lots of people and I have a few friends as well

The community is great, everything else is terrible. Do a walk through the whole building. There is visible black mold and ceilings falling in by back door exits and 5th floor community room. They have stripped residents of all amenities. Also if they sign lease make sure they read first. They will put it in front of you and tell you to sign and they will give you a copy afterwards.

They're senior suites of Hegewisch is filthy my mother moved in, and they're supposed to fix a lot of stuff. The vent in the kitchen over the stove is full of grease. The shower and the bathroom it is dirty. Are you supposed to have clean it some of the seniors the toilet was overflowing. The parking lot floods people in the office? It seems like they don't care they don't vacuum the elevator's always filthy. The walls are dirty. Those things need a lot of help. But they won't say that they because they are scared

The process was smooth. They took care of everything. The apartments looked new and well taken care of. The staff was friendly and supportive. They have many amenities for the seniors. Food banks, grocery runs to Wal-Mart and other local businesses are available to the residents.

This is an independent living building. Therefore no meals or housekeeping provided. The common areas are cleaned by staff. Meals on wheels and other services are available through a city agency. The staff here has changed a lot in last year. However, now it appears to have stabilized. Staff mainly communicate with tenants.

My mom loves it here. She's very happy which is all that matters to me. The carpet in the hallways can be a little cleaner (needs to be replaced). The office staff is friendly and responsive, especially if you establish your own relationship with them. Make sure you always advocate for your senior loved ones! They generally handle service requests pretty quickly, as well as medical emergencies. There are lots of activities and outings, which fosters friendships and community. It's not cheap to live here. If your senior is lucky enough to get into one of the reduced units, then its pretty affordable. I think the rent can certainly be lowered to be more in line with the reality of senior incomes. Overall, a lovely place. My mom experiences lots of joy here.

I am a transition case manager and have moved several people to this location. The office staff is kind, patient, and extremely helpful! I enjoy working with them as they are knowledgeable with working with subsidiaries and support all my clients.

The staff is really good. My loved one lives in, the senior apartments, which includes a refrigerator and stove. They do have some activities, such as Bingo Night. It is a little pricey but the utilities is included. The staff is wonderful and helpful. The community is very clean, and they have newly remodeled apartments. Overall, it's a great place.

This is a good place to live. If you are able to get in, I would suggest you move here. The staff are friendly, cooperative, and take care of the residents. Bingo, shopping, catering, gardening, and more activities for the residents to choose from are some of the activities offered.

There's a train that's right next to the building. It comes often, and at times when I'm trying to fall asleep. It's so loud it's like the horn is blaring to wake us up. It causes me many times to lose my train of thought. The building is nice. But I've had problems getting ahold of the office with issues. I've had some billing issues related to when and how rent is due. And I've had issues with home care being able to be let in because there was no one at the office. The maintenance man is really friendly. He noticed my stove needed replacing and offered to order a new one. I have some great neighbors too, very sharing and caring. I feel like we were put here to help one another, and we tend to look out for one another. I was also pleased that Senior Suites organized a Covid vaccination event in the building. And at times they provide food for us in the lobby, like canned goods or vegetables. Recently I saw a sign about a community garden inviting residents to help out.

I really like living here at this very nice community The staff is very nice. It's nice to know that the community is clean and takes of the grounds. They do offer activities for the residents that want to participate. I think that other families or single people would like this community for a place to call home.

Senior Suites of Hegewisch is excellent. The facility is clean. The staff is very nice. When she moved into her apartment they had installed new carpet, painted the walls, installed a new stove, etc. Now she doesn't eat the food there, she does her own thing. They have exercise there, movie night, and bingo. The place is wonderful, the people are wonderful. They come to her aid when she needs it. They have a clinic that comes and takes them and brings them back. There are many good qualities about this facility. It is very reasonable too. It is independent only and has about everything anyone would need. I am very pleased.

This is a very clean facility with great employees. My mother moved in a short time ago and has been helped many times by the front office. They continuously help the residents and provide many activities while instructing them on many services that are available to them.
