My mom had a tough adjustment to her new home, but everyone at Sunrise helped with making her feel at home. Everyone from the staff is so nice and were so patient with my mom. They did everything they could to make her feel at home. My brothers and I are so grateful for how caring and attentive everyone has been to ensure our mom is comfortable and happy in her new place. Promises way more than they deliver. The "assisted" in Assisted Living is virtually non-existent even when you are paying for elevated levels of care. Don't go if you need any actual help except medicine administration and even that is a challenge. Totally overpriced for poor care. Would NEVER recommend. The short time that my mother was there we hired a full time outside aide to assist her.

I would say we like the cleanliness of the facility, he seems to always be cleaned up well and they offer a lot of activities. There seems to be a lot of staff turnover though. Yes, we would recommend this community to other families based on the experience so far.

Sunrise of Franklin Lakes is always clean and kept well. They have multiple activities throughout the day to keep the residents active. The staff is friendly. We really feel that my dad is getting well taken care of there.

Such a community requires a LOT of TLC, organization and planning. Overall I feel Sunrise makes great effort to maintain a well run community and on many points is successful. Overall the staff is very good but There have been too many staff changes and are quite short handed at times, particularly on the weekends. There have been times when mom has waited way too long for aid to help w toileting. I feel Mom is adjusting well.

Please read and learn about this place before moving your loved one in if they are unable to defend and speak up for themselves. This Sunrise only takes pride in their assisted living. The Memory "Care" is horrible. I have videos and photos of the way my Mom was treated. She suffered from Lewy Body Dementia. I have photos of her privacy not being respected, her hygiene being ignored, and despite reporting each and every incident, nothing changed, and all the employees are still employed there. I found out much more after I installed cameras inside her bedroom. If you place your loved one here, insist on cameras inside their bedroom. My Mom used to eat with her hands, and on 2 separate occasions, her nails were full of old food and dirt. I had to alert the nurses of eye infections, also on 2 separate occasions. Imagine paying thousands $$ a month for "care" like this? Please put up cameras up and check on your parents like like I did. Feel free to contact me on Facebook for all info!

Everything has been great. The staff is so friendly and compassionate. The rooms are large, studio apartment. The amenities are very good. The residents are well fed and taken care, with many activities for them to participate in. Very good communication with the family members. Feels like a family environment.

Upon my first visit to Sunrise in Franklin Lakes, I noticed all the residents and staff smiling. The decor is warm and inviting. We are looking forward to meeting the nursing team and scheduling move-in date as soon as possible.

Beautiful facility that is clean and inviting. A friendly receptionist. An attentive staff makes the residents comfortable and relaxed. Rooms for the residents are easily accessible and well maintained.

This place provides a warm homey environment for my father. The staff provides all the attention and support he needs. He enjoys the food and all the activities. I do wish they provided an additional day of yoga.

I had a great experience. The staff is very nice. The activities is very nice. I wish there was free food. I wish there was poker. I wish there was video games so I can play Tetris 99. My grandma says it’s the best in the world. She loves it there she loves all the staff. She loves the food but hates how you had to pay for it. She also likes to play bored games.

I was doing research for a family friend and visited Sunrise of Franklin Lakes. I was surprised after visiting a few different options in the area how warm and friendly every member of staff was. I had a very nice tour with a sales person and met some seniors living there. The building is very new and appears highly staffed, we ran into team members around every corner. The seniors there seemed well taken care of and were happy chatting at lunch when I visited. I highly recommended and would do so in the future for friends who need senior care. They are also pet friendly which is a big plus! Lots of nice outdoor spaces too. Great amenity spaces in memory care which I was touring.
