I don't believe any of the staff, including the nurse had dealt with this before that resulted in me having to do some teaching.(I'm an RN).\nI did not have any PT and OT the entire time I was there. My room was in a two bed suite, one bathroom bathroom and one kitchen. The person in the other room had taken over all bathroom space all kitchen space all refrigerator space. She evidently had been there by herself for some time. Staff did get her to give me a little bit of bathroom. Space but none other.\nMeals we're overall good, adequate food, and two choices of entrées at each meal. I did not get to know any other residents except those that were at my table\nActivities – we provided on a pretty basic level, but they only had one person. They did have a bus that held two wheelchair people so went out on a couple of excursions around abutting towns. A Place For Mom recommended a few facilities, but after touring Sunrise of Norwood, and meeting the staff, we knew this was the best place for our mom. The staff is very kind, the facility is clean and bright. Their nurse assessed my mom while she was in the hospital and she was able to move right in to her new place upon release from the hospital. We are very happy with Sunrise of Norwood.
