We had a hurricane go through Talla while [name removed] was there and Admin staff stayed in the facility overnight through the storm to manage . They needed to rearrange the rooms to emergency power and watch over the patients with staff.\n6. Food Menu looked good. Did not eat any meals there.\n7 Activities. My friend was bed bound and was ill so did not participate in any\n8. Value. Excellent. We had a hard decision regarding ALF vs nursing home care. The director of nursing put a lot of time into assessing what [name removed] needed because of her illness and what Gables could provide . Their plan with us hiring the extra companion hours allowed my dear friend to enjoy her new home in the Gables, rather than being placed in a nursing home and made her last months so much more pleasant.
