Staff is upbeat, activity staff is extremely creative! The front desk concierge is always helpful. So far everything has been well coordinated and my family member is settling in well. The place is spotless. We saw residents eating, playing games, and sitting around talking. The apartments are nice and include kitchenettes, living space, a bedroom, and bathroom. I was very impressed.

Met with [name removed] at the Grand. I have a prepared list of questions and we discussed those We toured the facility and was shown the apartments. I informed [name removed] I most likely would move with [name removed] and foresee it to be at least 8 months to a year out. Aside from memory loss my wife [name removed] had her bladder removed in 2021. I take care of changing and handle her urostomy needs. [name removed] told me the staff at the Grand does not handle this type medical care. She said if in my absence an accident occurred they would need to have someone come in and address. The tour went well, [name removed] is great and thorough.

First of all , my mother is on the 3rd floor which is memory care. Very different from AL. Most of the staff are very active and hands on. The laundry dept. is great on providing clean laundry but mixes up clothing regularly. I gave up trying to corral my mother’s clothing. She wears whatever. She is kept clean though and that is what is important. One thing – my mother’s wheel chair keeps disappearing and she ends up with another one even though I put her name on the one she came in with. I looked at multiple places for my mother. She needed a place that offers independent living and a great social calendar. I looked at a The Grande three times before making my final decision to have my mother become a resident there. Each time I went I observed how the staff treated my mother and the current residents. The staff is always friendly and looks after them. If the staff doesn’t see them, then they check on them. They make sure they eat, which is comforting. Her room is spacious and it includes a small kitchenette. Another reason I chose The Grande was for the social activities they have each day. The only issues were setting up the WiFi and getting the A/C to cool properly. I would recommend The Grande to anyone looking for a place for their mom.

Some of the rooms are quite large. The food isn't great. They have a fabulous activities daily. The common rooms are very nice, lots of space. The area outdoor is very nice and quiet, lovely to sit out.

My loved one was previously a resident at The Grande and the overall experience was great for her at this facility. The cleanliness and friendliness were great. The meals and activities were also great. However, the management was changing and the staff was over extended. Overall, I would highly recommend The Grande to others.

The Grande is clean and well kept. The staff is in a company change, but have been very helpful and caring to my loved one. The residents are very friendly and all seem to be happy. They were very welcoming to my loved one. The staff was extremely helpful at move-in time. I was on a time crunch with taking off work and having movers move my loved one in. The doctor's office did not have her paperwork filled out in time. [name removed] was great getting everything done. The staff keeps in contact with my wife. My loved one is a very picky eater and enjoys the meals. The facility and the care is well worth the cost. We would recommend The Grande to anyone.

I am overwhelmed at the love these people show the residents. We just moved our Aunt back to Minnesota with us and the people that worked there couldn’t have helped more! I appreciated [names removed], he helped with all the details from taking apart her bed to helping us dispose of items we couldnt take with us. He was kind, helpful and attentive. [names removed]was like family - she cried when she hugged [names removed]goodbye and would have done anything for our Aunt. [names removed], the nurse manager was an incredible help as well. This is an amazing place & you won’t be loved more anywhere else.

Most of the staff I interacted with in admissions were great. But the aides on the floor didn't really seem to know my loved one very well. She was evaluated as independent enough to go there, but pulling her out of her house really activated her dementia, and they weren't able to giver her the things she really needed - more prompting and more supervision. Immediately when she moved in, I don't know why they didn't see her struggling and help her more. I understand that we had a unique situation, and I fee like it's not anyone's fault. No one could not have foreseen her decline. I liked that all the floors were hard, so they didn't absorb any odor. And everything looked clean. Also I can tell that the people who work in the kitchen are very passionate about making good food.

This community looked really good, but something just did not feel right. They did an initial assessment and stated that he needed assisted living my doctor stated that he just needed a little assistance and not assisted living. They wanted us to do full pay instead of waiting on medicaid and that would not work. They also gave us a double room as a single because of how small it was but then when we moved in they charged more and we had to move.

This place was terrible. I wouldn’t put anybody there. It was not clean, and the rooms were very institutionalized. They converted a hospital into this facility, so it felt like more of a nursing home instead of an assisted living facility.

This facility used to be a hospital, so it had more of a nursing home feel to it. They did not have balconies off of the rooms which is something we were looking for. The staff here were very friendly and it was a good value.
