A definite 5 stars! My brother, has improved so much since joining your facility. He is showing a positive improvement in his cognitive ability. His appetite has improved. The staff pushes him to improve himself. He is healthier both physically and mentally due to being pushed to improve. I haven't seem him smile so much. Overall, I would recommend the community to others!

[name removed], [name removed] and the rest of the staff have been excellent in caregiving. The chef has worked extra hard to obtain food for mom because she is so picky. The activities have added to her day and keep her busy... thank you!

The apartment sizes are quite large. I don't think the facility is adequately staffed foe the size and layout. The ratio of staff to residents is troubling especially after 5 when the administrative staff leaves. I was there after 6 one evening. There was 1 person who told me she really wasn't in charge, didn't have the key to the laundry so a resident was told she would have to sleep in her clothes because the laundry was closed and couldn't be opened til the next morning. I witnessed residents just sitting in wheelchairs throughout the facility. Several of them asked me fir assistance and I was unable to fund a staff member to help them. This was during the day. The distance from the rooms and the nurse's station is too far. If a resident was unable to reach their call button, not sure how long it would be before they were discovered. I would definitely not recommend this facility for anyone with memory or cognitive issues or with limited mobility.

I would rate Eden Green 5 stars! My mother moved from a facility in PA to Eden Green while in late stage dementia and age 96. My family was so happy with her beautiful room, view of trees, and the attention she received at Eden Green. Everyone who works there takes an interest in the residents and their well being. There were many activities, and someone was always sure to try to include my mom the best they could. The communication was great for us ,and we always felt comfortable visiting. My mother was kept clean, changed and lots of attention was paid to her even in her final days when she could no longer speak . It was the best move we could have made for my mother!

They have sufficient and motivated staff, good activities and are very proactive with activities. The place is VERY clean, the residents seem very content and happy to be there, plus the food is pretty good.

I would say the rooms, grounds, and dining rooms are lovely. But the level of care provided is not an appropriate place for someone with mobility and cognitive issues. The ratio of staff to residents, especially after 5 pm is no where adequate.

They aren't able to handle patients with dementia. My mother has dementia and she only was able to stay there a month before they asked her to leave due to her calling out because she couldn't use the call bell properly. They have been short staff quite a few times when I was there and would not answer the call bell even after twenty minutes of waiting. My mother needed her food chopped up and supervision while eating. Numerous times her cold tray would be in her room and she didn't even know it was there. Staff was nice, however, they clearly could not handle a stroke patient with dementia. My mother has now been in the hospital seven days due to a fractured left ankle and dementia. Not clearly sure how she broke it. Staff reported they found her in the floor. My mother is paralyzed on her left side from the stroke. They will not take her back and we are now looking at a skilled nursing facility for her.

The facility is always clean and smells good. The staff is always friendly and helpful when asked. It seems at times understaffed but could be the time of year with sickness and bad weather. After 2 months overall satisfied. The activities are wonderful A++ for that department.

The categories that I rated as 4 and not 5 are primarily because I am still assessing those. The facility is an appropriate size for my wife needs. We visited a larger and smaller facility before choosing this one that is just the right size. This facility is focused on only residents who have dementia issues but if they have other physical issues they are managed well. I believe this greatly helps this facility the high quality of care. At this time I don't have any areas they need to improve on.

Our experience with The Residence at Eden Green has been overwhelmingly positive. One of the biggest draws for us was its size—it’s larger than most facilities we toured but still feels personal, comfortable, and far from “corporate.” Many other options felt cramped or inactive, but Eden Green immediately gave a clean, welcoming impression from the moment we walked in. The staff have been wonderful since day one, and our mom has been exceptionally well cared for, which has made this major life transition much easier for our family. She truly enjoys the meals, the wide range of daily activities and outings, and often speaks highly of the staff and the friendships she’s made. We also deeply appreciate that the facility offers onsite occupational and physical therapy, which shows a real commitment to improving residents’ quality of life. While assisted living in Maryland can be costly, we’ve found Eden Green to be very reasonable, especially considering the upgraded rooms, modern amenities, cleanliness, and strong medical and social support provided.

The Residence at Eden Green has been the best place that I could have chosen for my mother. The staff is very caring and do everything they can for the residents! I would highly recommend Eden Green to anyone needing a clean caring home for their loved one I live in Milford, DE and it's only 22 miles away from my doorstep without much traffic. My mother experienced many happy moments while at Eden Green.

They are awesome. Just the day my uncle was discharged from a hospital to a skilled nursing facility and they will make sure the health care team oversees his care and treatment every other day. Until he is returned to the assisted living. The staff, nurse, head nurse staff, CEO , directors, laundry staff, kitchen everyone is awesome. I trust them and their care implicitly.

The nurse station is fairly far from many of the residents ' rooms as the place is quite large. They did not appear to have the number of staff I'd been told they have. Several times I saw residents sitting in various halls or rooms. I helped residents a couple times when there was not a staff member in sight. The maintenance crew leaves at 3 or 3:30 so it isn't clear what would happen if there were some problem after hours. I was there about 5:30 once. A resident was upset that she needed something from the laundry. The person "in charge" told her there was nothing she could do and the resident would have to wait till the next day. The "person in charge " told me she wasn't in charge that there really wasn't anyone in charge once they all left at 5 and she didn't have any keys so couldn't open the laundry room to help the resident. I would recommend the family member visit the facility after 5 as it is a completely different set up after hours

My mother received exception care at EG. Everyone - administrative, healthcare workers, sanitation engineers, nutrition staffers - went out of their way to meet her/our needs. Such a loving group of people. Those good-old country girls are angels. They made her final days peaceful .

The Residence at Eden Green is awesome! I can't begin to tell you how loving the nurses and staff are. Their friendliness is top-notch & they even know everyone's names, including the family! This is a very caring atmosphere here. The crafts and games seem to keep all the residents occupied & well entertained. I like knowing how and what they do with the security, it helps me to be at ease knowing mom is being kept safe, too.

I have no idea how I was so fortunate to seek out Eden Green when looking at assisted living homes for my 90+ year old parents. When visiting Eden Green I was amazed by the management team and staff taking the time to sit and talk on the many visits I made. Every piece of advice from Eden Green staff has proven to be extremely beneficial to my parents and my family. The team reviewed my parents’ needs and had solutions or recommendations for every one of them. They made sure I met caregivers from nursing, physical therapy, finance, social activities, and even dining staff. Before the transition to Eden Green my mom fell and fractured her hip. All of mom’s needs were met by the Eden Green team who provided personal care, physical therapy, nursing care, and support staff who became personally involved with her challenge to recover. Life has its challenges, but I know my parents are in the best possible place to meet them at Eden Green.

They were wonderful with my mom, sadly she only lived to be there for a month and a half. But I highly recommend them if you can afford them. It is totally self pay, no medicaid patients taken. They have 2 chefs and the food always looked great. They have lots of fun activities for their residents too.

It's been ok. I think communication could be better. Very clean. Staff is very friendly. Care could be better. My mom is incontinent and needs reminders every 2 hours and I feel they do not stay on top of that. She is always wet when I go there. I have had a few conversations about it but it is still happening. They just asked if she has to go. It doesn't work that way. She needs assistance and I don't feel like she gets that. Don't really see them that often. When my mom was 1st there I would see them but now hardly see them at all. Food is great! My mom never complains about the food. I have even said I just wanna go there for dinner so I don't have to cook. They try to get my mom involved but she doesn't want to. Pretty good right the value
