A Place for Mom really helped and in 1 day lined up 4-5 senior homes with appointments for tours for us the following day! We landed here as the 4th of 5 places lined up to visit. Once we arrived at Truewood by Merril, First Hill—met the staff, residents and execs, we were hooked, cancelled the next place we were supposed to see and signed the contract that night. They were extremely accommodating while i was helping my parent move in, all hours of the day and night :), allowed me to stay while settling them in, and treated us with respect, kindness and genuine care all along the way. Really, we are so grateful for this place!! And the food is amazing ;) my parent is a picky eater, and every day he says the food is fantastic and they swerve all of his favorite things.
