There happened to be quite a few staff changes right when my mother-in-law entered the facility which I think was just incidental but still did cause some minor frustrations. The facility is very social with a nice community feel. Everyone from staff to residents. It is very friendly and welcoming. We describe it as a dormitory for seniors where your friends are all just right down the hall and you always find a friendly face in the dining room. I hope to live somewhere similar when I am this age. My mother-in-law was immediately much happier with all of the social activities and keeping busy. Though she had some minor and very expected issues with moving from her big house to a much smaller studio apartment, all of the social amenities and friends really distracted her from this and she had minimal moments of sadness and actively thanks me and my husband on a very regular basis for getting her there still after 6 months.
