Truly a loving home

My mother had dementia and lived at Woodside Hall for 3 years and it was a blessed time. Mom’s cognitive and physical abilities steadily declined. They were with her every step of the way, including her peaceful end of life with hospice care. Woodside Hall had residents needing assistance for a variety of reasons The same level of support was given to all. They figured how to create a fun, family environment with staff and residents living together and supporting each other. It is a beautiful, clean setting, inside and out. Minutes from the local clinic and hospital, healthcare was expedited when needed. A specialist from an hour away helped residents with dementia. Her physical condition was pristine. Always prompt help with bathroom needs, never a pressure sore or fall. Woodside deserves the highest praise. Staff are truly loving, hard-working angels. Even in her last days, my Mom lit up with a smile at the sight of her housemates. It was her place of comfort.

Exceptional Care That Feels Like Family & Home

Woodside Hall was my grandma’s home for six years, and she truly thrived there. She was happy, comfortable, and deeply loved. What meant the most to our family was seeing her form real, meaningful friendships—not only with other residents, but with the staff as well. She was known by name, by personality, and by heart. Woodside Hall has a rare, family-like atmosphere you feel the moment you walk in. As a family-owned adult home, there is a warmth, consistency, and genuine care that goes far beyond basic services. My grandma was encouraged to remain as independent as possible while always feeling supported and safe. The environment felt calm, welcoming, and truly like a home—not a facility. Knowing she spent her later years feeling secure, valued, and part of a caring community brings our family deep gratitude.

Woodside Hall is a Wonderful Place!

I highly recommend Woodside Hall to anyone who is looking for a safe, welcoming home for an elderly family member who needs care.  Before I found Woodside Hall, I searched high and low in my area for a good, secure environment for my mother who has dementia/Alzheimers' disease.  Some places would not take her in due to her cognitive decline, but Woodside Hall has always been so welcoming and wonderful.  I know that she is getting the individualized care and attention she needs at a very reasonable rate.  Woodside Hall has a very warm and friendly atmosphere, and it truly is an excellent home for my mother.  The aides and all of the employees there are so nice and supportive.  There are excellent artistic and musical activities for her to participate in, too.  The food at Woodside Hall is top-notch, as well!  I'm so glad my mother is now a part of such a great community, and I know she is taken care of and treated with kindness by everyone there.  I could not recommend it more!

My Mom lived there

Woodside Hall provided a home for my 93 year old mother for a year and a half. When it was decided that she could no longer live alone, we contacted Woodside. [name removed], of management, led us on a tour of the facility. The atmosphere and cleanliness was what got our attention at first. The pleasant attitude of all the staff kept us there. What we really appreciated was the communication. They kept us up to date on events, any issues and most importantly, on how my mother was doing. Unfortunately, mom passed away in November. Since that time, Woodside has continued to provide support and help when needed. I would highly recommend Woodside Hall.

A loving place for Mom

Hello, to anyone who is thinking of a possible home for a loved one. I would like to tell you a little about Woodside Hall and my Mom. When the time came that she needed a little more help, she moved into Woodside Hall. For a while before becoming a resident of Woodside Hall, she had become withdrawn and quiet. But very quickly becoming happier than she had been in a long time. I believe the reason is that the staff and care givers are as close to family as they can be. It is a warm, safe and friendly environment with friendships with care givers and fellow residents. My Mom loved the activities like bingo where she won a lot (I'm not sure she didn't cheat a little, but I have no proof). My Mom lived at Woodside Hall the last 6 years of her life, and was happy and it was her home.

My mother called Woodside Hall her home

My mother lived at Woodside Hall till she was 104. She loved it there and called it home. During her years at Woodside, she was treated with such kindness, love and compassion. When we visited, we were made to feel welcome and enjoyed both the staff and residents. The food was always delicious and the dining room was so cheerful. My mother loved games, especially Bingo and Trivial Pursuit (which was geared for her generation), and there were so many cool prizes to choose from. My mother's collection of small, bingo-prize teddy bears... only the ones with jointed arms and legs, please!...grew to be quite a display in her room. She spoke with pleasure of visits from young children, pets, and performers. My mother was happy at Woodside Hall and it was such a good feeling to know that she was safe, well cared for, respected and having fun. I will never forget the beautiful people who made my mother's golden years at Woodside so filled with ease, comfort and happy times.

Wonderful, caring staff

My mother had been a resident of Woodside Hall for almost 4 years. I have spent many hours there visiting and have always been impressed with the cleanliness . My interactions with staff has always been positive and My mother constantly talks about how well she is treated. We have always found the staff to be very caring and to quickly respond to any concerns or requests. I would definitely recommend this facility.
