Daily care staff are excellent. You can tell they truly care about the residents. The social person is wonderful. When my loved one slowed down doing activities - they approached me and asked if there was anything going on. Basically asking me if it was something on their end. Kitchen staff is amazing. Food is important to elders when they are placed somewhere. Food is great! Apartment size is good. Nice closet size also. Activities are plentiful. They try to keep their minds active which is important. Offsite activities as well (plays, music, etc). I told my kids if I had to be placed somewhere I would want to go there!!

The staff at The Courtyards Senior Living at Oak Ridge were inviting, friendly, supportive and welcoming. The facilities were nicely kept, easy to maneuver about, and well maintained. Because they had a waiting list for new residents and time was of the essence for us, we selected a nearby facility that was comparable. “A Place For Mom” was a God-send for our family as we had little time to choose a place, and they made it possible for us to find a wonderful and reasonable home for her!

5 for each one. The staff at The Courtyards in Knoxville is always friendly and helpful! They smile, they laugh, and they watch the residents with care! The facility is clean and inviting. The room is large enough for all that she wanted to bring and is well-kept! My mother loves the food!

courtyard has been exceptional caring for my parents. They provide excellent meals and options when the main dish may not be to my parents choosing. They provide wonderful trips and activities that my mom loves.

Courtyards is amazing. I went to the others and courtyards is beautiful. Small and ppl are great. Food is good. Attentive administrators. The Courtyards is a 5. I visited at least 3 that were recommended by APFM and Courtyards is where I told my kids I would want to be. She is having a wonderful experience there. If someone is looking for a smaller place then it is amazing.

The staff at Courtyards was kind and professional. I felt like they really cared. My comment is that we received excellent care at the Courtyards!?? Everyone should know what a good facility you run.

Lovely community with a warmth and openness. Literally! The chef can be seen and communicated with while he is preparing meals and snacks. And he doubles as the community pianist! One level living for the residents with a wonderful courtyard and level grassy area. Perfect for families when they visit. We look forward to returning with our mom to enjoy a lunch and to see it for herself.

I rate all areas a five. The workers there are friendly and work well with patients. [name removed] has not complained about being there one time. I would definitely recommend them to others who are searching for a place for their loved one.

Mom loves being here. They have great staff that takes care of all mom’s needs. She has become happier since moving there as they have activities daily that she enjoys. She has also made new friends that are her age. She is doing well and has even told me she wants to stay there.

The facility is a smaller community which makes it easier for residents to know each other better. The CNAs are able to assist the residents better. The campus is beautiful.

Great place staff is very helpful and nurses are very caring. They reach out of any problems clean and food is good.

What we like the most about The Courtyards is that it seems like family, however they could probably improve on the laundry. Yes, we would recommend this community to other families.

Memory Care Facility at Courtyards - Oak Ridge provides excellent care for my husband. Staff is kind and patient. Highly recommend. The food is good and I can tell he really enjoys it. When he needed care beyond what I could give at home, I didn’t know what to do next. So happy we found Courtyards.

Memory care is tough. So were the bed bugs that came in with the bed from hospice company they recommended. Hellish experience for everyone. Had to throw most everything out- clothes, furniture etc

They were so helpful when mother's health started going down. They really worked hard to help find ways we could take care of her and her stay there. The staff really took care of her they would talk to her and try to get her to eat when she wouldn't. They made her feel like they were part of her family.

[name removed]--recently promoted to the facility director is excellent and and is the main reason the facility is well run. He puts the residents first and it shows. It would be nice if they could offer bus rides.

I would give a 5 in every category, especially the staff, they are super. They are the reason I hesitate to move him to a place with more room, especially outdoor space. It's a little small and I wish there were more activities for the residents.
