They were very welcoming and helpful. They brought my father around to meet the various Departments and discuss all of the things that they have available for the residents.

It had a wonderful vibe to it. The administration, staff and residents were kind and friendly and really cared about each other.

The facilities are immaculate, her room is a good size, and there are bigger rooms, the menu is intriguing, but Mom is not thrilled with the choices, the activities are varied and fairly regular, everyone is friendly and has a pretty good time.

First, we live in New Mexico and have not personally seen CaraVita. I was involved with making arrangements for my brother, [name removed] to live there. My only experience was with [name removed]. [name removed] was very helpful & professional in arranging [name removed] residence at CaraVita.[name removed] has voiced no complaints about facilities or staff.

Seascape is a nice facility where I was warmly received. The programming looks sound - I am only interested in the Memory Care. Shortcomings from my perspective are: 1. It is larger than I prefer; 2. The studio apartment I inspected has an odd floor plan; and 3. The lighting is terrible throughout the entire facility. Although not unsafe, it is gloomy and depressing-a game-changer for me.

We went on a tour of the assisted living area and then the locked memory care unit. I didn’t notice any smells or messes , the place was sparkling clean. I didn’t like the price that my loved one would have to pay since one on one care is necessary for him. Feels like if the patient has some behaviors that need to be worked on the facility would prefer that be taken care of in a psych unit to adjust meds. He was rejected.

Needless to say, no one looks forward to the idea of assisted living. My uncle was no different. He went kicking and screaming. Since moving in three months ago, he has made some friends and seems to be enjoying himself. He seems to like the staff too.

I moved in about three years ago because my health was declining and being at home was more challenging. The caregivers are generally good and care about me and the other residents and we appreciate the care they provide. The community is clean. Activities are fun. The food is good, the dining staff make me happy and we generally have a good time. I love being outside and the patio and covered porch are two of my favorite places. I love when the yard is covered in snow because I used to be an avid skier. We planted tomatoes and one of my friends here releases Monarch butterflies from time to time. No one imagines living in an assisted living but if one is facing such a decision, they would not be unhappy if they chose Mira Vie Manalapan. I can definitely recommend this community.

I moved to Mira Vie Manalapan almost two years ago after surviving a stroke. When I arrived I was not able to walk and confined to a wheel chair. I attribute my being able to walk so well now to my diligence and determination along with the quality therapy department and caregivers at Mira Vie Manalapan. I consider the decision of making Mira Vie my permanent home one of my best decisions ever. I have made many friends with staff and residents alike. Everyday is different and there is always something to do. I start my day with prayer and move on from there. I particularly enjoy the gazebo in the back garden overlooking the farm. I like to make phone, calls there in the privacy of the outdoors as well as listen to my music and just enjoy hanging with other residents/friends.

It's 5 stars, although very expensive. They take very good care of their clients. I felt at ease. I live two hours away form my brother and I knew he was safe and well taken care of. The staff is awesome!!! Sometimes communication can be an issue. I told them my brother wasn't going to stay if he could take care of himself. So I don't think they were happy about that. He got better enough that I now have sold his house in basking ridge and he has moved down the shore. HIs son helps him on weekends and I have an aid there in the morning.

They are communicative of what is going on with my dad. They met with me and made everything happen quickly. Priced better than others

Polite, inviting, informative, asking questions about what I was looking for and getting a sense of what they could offer to help them settle in easier. Spacious, natural light, clean surroundings. Friendly staff. Provide activity to encourage residents to interact. I was impressed that the Director knew her residents names as we toured the facility. More than just money coming in, people to be respected.

Mira vie is wonderful, thank you. [name removed] was great with all my questions. The nurses are great and the aides with helping my dad settle in.

Mira vie has been fine, wish we had known a full interior renovation was going to be going on shortly after we arrived. Living in a construction zone has been problematic. They have been very accommodating , my mother has not been an easy resident.

I would give them 5 stars. The staff is great, the food is perfect for my sister, and the activities are numerous.

What we like the most about the community are the activities and the overall value. We would recommend this community to other families.

The entire entrance process was straightforward and efficient. My mom was able to move into her spacious, one bedroom apartment within one month of completing paperwork. There are a variety of activities from crafting and karaoke to social hour and visits with Otis the therapy dog. My mom has found numerous activities that are enjoyable. The options for breakfast, lunch and dinner are many and my mom enjoys socializing with fellow residents during meals. Her laundry including sheets and towels are washed, dried, folded and returned every Wednesday, along with having her bed made and apartment cleaned. Living at Mira Vie at Brookfield allows my mom to do what she loves, not chores and housekeeping.

Friendly all questions answered very clean. Still investigating but this place is a front runner! Love the staff!

I recently had to make the most difficult decision of my life. My Mom is 90 and has dementia and was living with me for the last 2 years. I reached a point where i was no longer able to care for her properly. I reached out to Mira Vie and connected with Sunny. She was absolutely SPECTACULAR. She helped me through the entire process. I was not able to get my Mom to go willingly so I had to have an Ambulance take her to the hospital. Thank goodness I did as she had a very bad infection in her toe. Sunny talked me through everything. The day she went to the hospital I had to bring her belongings to Mira Vie. I arrived there and was totally distraught and upset about the entire situation. As I came around the corner to go to my Mom's room in tears, Sunny was walking towards me. She saw me and gave me a big hug and assured me everything would be fine. I will NEVER forget the kindness and compassion she showed me that day. Mom is now there since March 9th and adjusting well. Thank you Sunny!
