Legacy Retirement Communities

Legacy was a perfect match for my parents. My mom even said "You saved me." My dad was, he passed away [date removed], a polio survivor and had no use of his legs. The staff needed some training by me and my mother to become comfortable with my dad. For example, the CNA had never used a transfer board. Once we demonstrated, they did great. Also, it only took one discussion to clarify anything that wasn't being done correctly. They were very accommodating and kind in the care of my dad. The move in was slow, but the staff assisted with the availability of dollies and removal of trash that accumulated. My folks moved into a one bedroom unit that had plenty of space for each piece of furniture they required. Even the pieces I felt they didn't need. There is ample closet space, and now that my dad is gone, the apartment feels large for one person. The food hasn't been too repetitive, and they've done a lot to add variety along with the activities of the facility, ie ethnic dishes during a "cruise around the world" week. The staff takes great care to deliver meals ordered with very little notice and quickly take the dirty dishes away. The wide hallways and bright lighting give Legacy Village quite a luxurious feel. There are ample gathering places for visiting family and they're located close to activies in the local community. The city library even delivers requested books. One of my favorite features is the availability of a 2 chair/sink salon to be used by residents. My mom still has her hair done by the same stylist she's had for 20 years. Small comfort after the passing of her husband after 64 years together.

The staff is so caring and helpful. When I have eaten there, the food was delicious. Everything is very clean. Mom has a studio apartment which is perfect for her. She has improved since I moved her to Legacy.

I recently toured Legacy Village Provo looking for potential places for my sister if she can move here. We were very impressed with the overall feel of the facility from the comfortable and personal rooms, to the spacious dining and activity areas. We enjoyed seeing residents playing games together while we were there too. It felt like a friendly community that we hope our family member gets to live in at some point.

My wife gives the facility a 5. Staff was great, it was clean, and it served our temporary purpose. She did give the food 4 to 4.5. She did mention that the integration of assisted living and memory care was a bit depressing. The integration occurred in the dining room and the courtyard. We would recommend them to others.

Friendly staff, clean and welcoming place. Beautiful garden area for residents to relax and enjoy. Lots of activities for them to do to keep busy. Lots of variety for meals and snacks.

Legacy House is a 5 star facility.. it is more expensive than other facilities but the grounds, apartments and common areas are beautiful. Great staff, great medical techs, and food options.

It was great. We had lunch and was very pleased. Their menu allowed some leeway in choices. The residents were very welcoming.

Very clean, well kept facility with a friendly staff. Legacy House met our expectations for a Respite Care facility for my mother.

Staff was very kind, caring, and considerate. They took good care of our aunt during her entire stay.

The director is an absolute dream. Her name is [Name Removed]. My dad would not be an easy person to win over and for him to be comfortable in a Memory Care is almost impossible to believe, but she has taken him under her wing, along with some amazing staff, and they take wonderful care of him. He never asks when he's leaving where he is or when can he go home which is just unheard of for us they're gentle and kind. I don't know much about their activities and I haven't seen the unit except for a couple of photos. It seems a good size for a studio. We had hoped he would be able to be in a one bedroom but in the end it worked out fine and he seems perfectly content with the space he loves spending time in the courtyard, and he has gone to two doctors appointments which he never ever used to do and would fight profusely. He went willingly and was very kind to the staff and overall the experience has been very very positive and we would highly recommend it, especially when you're in a transitionary situation where you think you never thought your parent would be able to be somewhere where they would actually acclimate and feel like they are safe and at home. He's a long standing old cowboy so for him to say that out loud would not happen except when I ask him how he's doing he says everything is great. He's gained 15 pounds because he loves their food and I'm able to send him protein drinks and snacks that he loves and they give it to him it will overall everything has been great and we hope it continues to be. It was a very hard decision, especially after being in Vegas and having such a terrible experience there. We live in Minnesota, Minnesota and there's a saying here called Minnesota nice… I had people say that we would find St. George had a St. George Nice feel about it and it certainly does. We are grateful he is there and grateful for the staff who takes care of him.

They are honest and extremely friendly. I strongly recommend Legacy. The only way they could improve would be better food but that is it.

The staff are extremely kind and caring! I have cameras in her apartment and I am amazed with nearly every interaction with staff. Management is quick to respond and concerned about issues. The apartments are attractive and well maintained. My mother is 89 and does not want to leave her apartment for any reason. We have a doctor who visits her and diagnostic services who come to her apartment for testing. She has outside physical therapy and a caregiver a few days days a week. She could receive these services in-house but she is very attached to her two outside people. Housekeeping is excellent. My mother can be very difficult but the staff has won her trust and heart. She complains about the food but it is mostly quite good. She needs to take advantage of the wide variety of menu items. Since she won't go to the dining room I make sure she has at least one hot meal delivered. The delivery charges add up but she is very stubborn and old. I'm sure delivery charges are to encourage guests to go to the dining room but she won't. Our family tries to take her to the dining room and she has an enjoyable social experience when she goes.

Our tour was wonderful. Emily was professional, very informative and welcoming. We will be reviewing the information as a family prior to making a decision.

Toured Legacy Village for my mother. I knew immediately that Legacy was the right fit for her and us as a family. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. They answered all of my questions, presented options and solutions to address my concerns. The building is beautiful and well maintained. I’ve been there nearly everyday since moving mom in and as I walk through I see residents and staff together engaged in various activities. Mom says the food has been great which is a huge plus!!

[name removed] did a great job, taking us around the common areas, showing independent living rooms, and introducing us to some of the residents - including some my mom knew.

The management staff is knowledgeable and helpful. The one apartment I rented for my sister is perfect for a single or a couple. The living room, one bedroom, and closet are spacious. Another good report on Legacy Village is the food. The restaurant is first class, like a nice hotel restaurant.

Beautiful facility! Friendly staff and very knowledgeable. The facility has a lot to offer and has a very homey atmosphere.

We are satisfied. I would recommend to others. The workers all seem friendly and caring. The facility is high quality, new, well maintained.
