When you walk in the door there is a great feel to the current. People are happy the entrance is clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. The days have a variety of activities. In addition to the strength classes, mom's favorite are the weekly lunch outing and the monthly dinner outing. The nightly cocktail hour into dinner is a social and excellent way to wind down the evening. Mom is in a one bedroom which is spacious. It fits her king bed,a dresser and a chest of drawers. Her living room has an entertainment center sofa and chair.

Our loved one is in one of the smaller apartments, but it is quite satisfactory for her needs. The staff was very welcoming and rolled out an actual red carpet and had mock champagne and a fruit and cheese platter when we rolled her into the building on her first day. They also gave her a large Welcome gift basket containing chocolate, soft blanket, puzzle books, and lots more. Overall, the staff is attentive. On occasion, one might have to wait for a caregiver to come after buzzing their pendant, but for the most part, they are pretty good about responding. The nursing staff is excellent and keeps the family informed of every little change in our loved one's condition. The maintenance staff is also attentive and attends to your needs pretty promptly. Laundry is cleaned, folded , and returned in a reasonable amount of time. The dining room offers a huge variety of different kinds of foods and is overall very tasty. There are lots of activities for residents, including daily workouts, puzzling, word games, bingo, movies, flower, arranging, and on and on. Upstairs there is a beautiful movie theater as well as a self-serve coffee and juice bar, a regular bar, and a jazz lounge. Happy hour is open every afternoon and on Fridays they have people come in and sing or play music during the happy hour. They also do beautiful luncheons on special days and holidays like Mother's Day, Father's Day, Fourth of July, etc.. where loved ones can have their families come and join them for a meal and accompanying music. The facility is currently being renovated and updated. It's going to be beautiful. We are very happy with the care and service our loved one has received so far.

The Current South Shore was outstanding. As a newer facility the building is fresh and full of light. The Move-In coordinator gave us a tour and her enthusiasm was infectious. While we are in the early stages of looking for a senior living facility, Current South Shore is now at the top of our list.

5 for all. The staff are responsive to concerns when issues arose. Feel staff wants residents and family members to be happy. Happy with quality of food and yes I would recommend Brandywine community for assisted living.

The front desk staff is helpful and caring . [name removed] the admissions was great to work with and easy to get a hold of . The place is beautiful and really clean . Her apartment is perfect for her, the size of the facility is perfect for my mom not small but not large. My mom absolutely loves it.

The apartment is very spacious. It was remodeled before I moved in. The appliances are up to date and all the cabinetry is brand new. The bathroom is outfitted with handicapped grab bars and a walkin shower. The staff is friendly. Since I am in the independent living area there isn't any care. Light house keeping and the white was is done weekly by the house keepers. The common areas are immaculate.

Apartment size (studio deluxe) is very adequate for 1 person. Most staff seem knowledgeable and are honest with feedback when I ask questions about the type of care or assistance is given.

Overall, we had a very positive experience. The staff was always happy to help, and [name removed] at the front desk was exceptional. She was always smiling, friendly, and engaging. She helped us with things like arranging a van ride and truly set the tone when you walk through the door. [name removed] did a great job introducing me to the facility. I really liked the outdoor space and especially the deck on the fifth floor. There are also lots of amenities, including a bar, which was a nice feature. [name removed] was always helpful with wellness and with getting my husband settled in. The staff who cared for him were courteous and hardworking. I would especially like to mention [name removed], who was very pleasant and had a great work ethic. The only area where I would give a lower grade was the food. Because my husband was unable to leave his room, his meals were delivered. Unfortunately, the food was often not hot, which understandably affected the taste and overall experience. I also want to mention how friendly the other residents were. They were quick to engage with me whenever I visited, and there were lots of smiles all around. Overall, we were very pleased with the staff, the facility, and the welcoming atmosphere.

The Current is a gorgeous assisted living / memory care community. Approaching the entrance I could see residents and staff doing activities on the patio. The receptionist was very welcoming and I enjoyed the tour hosted by [name removed]. [name removed] was very knowledgeable about the property and the business of senior housing. This property has a work out room and trainer - an impressive resource for healthy aging.

Very happy with it. All of the above - the room is gutted and refurbished between each patient. The staff there are amazing all my interactions have been positive although I do not and cannot hear from my mother as to her personal experience because she doesn't remember anything, but we are very satisfied with Brandywine and would highly recommend it to anyone.

Staff is fantastic. Friendly, helpful, professional. Other residents have been very welcoming. We love our apartment. Activities have been varied and we have participated in many things. Location is great. South Weymouth is perfect for us.

Informative and welcoming facility. The facility was beautifully designed and such a pleasant and comfortable clean feeling of inclusion. My father has decided to become a member and I am very happy for that.

Staff has been very kind and responsive. We are happy! We would definitely recommend. They made the transition very easy, coming from a hospitalization on short notice.

Based on the tour, I thought it was a great facility. Very well maintained. The staff was very nice. It had many of the things we were looking for in a place to care for my mom. Definitely considering it.

[name removed] was and still is an amazing woman. She makes sure she takes care of you like a family member. So far everyone I dealt with is pleasant and helpful. A great crew!!!

The people who are in charge are not only competent but always willing to listen & to help. Someone is always available. Most of the residents we have met are friendly and if they have been here a while, will give advice of how to manage something or who to go to. There are some fun activities, musicians and information lectures - plus of course - BINGO - some other games. Always something to do. The food is also pretty good- I would give it a 4.

What we like the most about the community is their staff and the food is great. Yes, we would recommend Brandywine community to other families based on the experience we have had.

The many numbers of people that have voiced their opinions on Messenger is what made my experience positive. I would recommend to others.
