I tour the facility and it’s stunning inside and out the people are very nice and polite, very friendly and nice.

I have met a number of residents and find everyone personable, friendly and welcoming both staff and residents. Especially like the variety and quality of meals. Have engaged in a number of activities and plan to do more. Apartment is quiet and a perfect place to relax in. Would highly recommend.

Mom loves her new apartment. The staff has been amazing. The apartment sizes are small, but they have everything mom needs.

The staff are always extremely helpful, always trying to assist in any way possible. The rooms were really designed for single occupancy, so it is tight space wise. Having a primary physician onsite twice a week is extremely helpful, and both have changed to the in-house doctor as their primary. They have indicated that the PT personnel have been instrumental in overall improvement of balance and mobility. The only complaint from the new residents is that 3x meals a day is too much, so they usually skip one. There is one more, they indicate that they are frequently knocking on their door to bring them out… We are thrilled with this problem ??!!! Overall, we as the children of [name removed], are very pleased with our choice for them.

Staff has been very nice and helpful. Any request has been answered right away. At first, I thought the Food left a little to be desired, but it is better.

I visited the facility for the first time on [date removed]. [name removed] gave me the grand tour and then provided me with the monthly cost which I considered to be very fair compared with the cost of other facilities in the area. Then I decided to take my Dad back on [date removed] and [name removed] was very gracious to repeat the grand tour again. She was very kind and attentive to Dad and very responsive to his questions and comments. We greatly appreciated our time with [name removed] and we both thought the facility was beautiful, clean, and reasonably priced for Respite Care.

The staff are great. They are always helpful and friendly. The activities leave a lot to be desired. The Bingo for instance if you Bingo the choices of prizes are a small tube of toothpaste, small deodorant, small package of tissues. Obviously their funds are not much. The apartments are pretty nice. But very expensive. Inside of the building are keep pretty clean. But the outside could be better. What I was the most disappointed was the meals. The chefs are doing their best, but they are held to a very tight budget. For example , they requested , small bags of potato chips to be served with the sandwiches. They were denied. They were to buy big bag of potato chips and just put handful of potato chips on the plate with the sandwiches. You have your apartment cleaned once a week and they do a great job. The bus that we have is very good. If you need to go to the doctor or go shopping, the bus driver is great and takes you and picks you up when finished. Over all for me University Pines is a B. This is an independent living facility, so don't expect any personal help. There is not a nurse or doctor on site. A hospital is close by.

The staff is awesome. Very professional and helpful. Their care, activities, food, and cleanliness is also very good. I've started my Weekly Therapy here. I've had two sessions. Very impressive

I thought Eagleview was great. It was clean, friendly, bright and sunny. However I think this facility would be too much for my mother to navigate.

It's cost effective, generally clean, mostly responsive, it's a big place so there are gaps But generally, it meets my clients needs. Staff is great

My wife and I toured the Cortland looking for a place for our son who is having memory problems. We were told that they did have an opening in the memory part of the place but if he needed to be in the assisted living part he would have to have his name put on a wait list. We returned with our son for him to be evaluated but so far no more info. about what is happening. We did give them after visit reports from his doctors but they wanted more. They were going to approach the doctors themselves but so far no other info.

Starting with staff. They definitely are understaffed and trying hard to hire additional people. However, every staff member was so kind, friendly and caring for my husband. I loved them all. I had such a great relationship with them also. I went everyday to visit my husband and I miss interacting with them. The food was excellent. Since my husband was not on a restricted diet he had a choice of either of the meals. I ate lunch with him everyday so I know what I'm talking about. They had some activities but my husband did not really participate for the most part. The room was a decent size. We had a full size bed, a nightstand, a dresser and 2 full size chairs, and a stand for his TV. There was still room to move around. I loved the people there and initially I felt guilty placing him there. He adjusted quickly and never complained.

[name removed] was great and helped us with everything. They had a lot more than we expected and my father in law immediately wanted the first room he saw.

The tour went very well. She was very receptive to an unexpected invite & spent time with me & gave me helpful information. If my brother decides to stay in this area, I would greatly consider this facility's bright spacious areas to enjoy.

I was touring with my elder cousin. She was having a rough day, but staff paid special attention to address her anxieties and concerns. She has many dietary restrictions and the dietitian prepared a dinner on the fly for her, then sat with my cousin for quite awhile to learn more about her food sensitivities, and set out a plan of how they could work together to best meet her dietary needs and wants. By the time they finished my cousin was feeling less anxious and was even smiling. The dietitian and all other staff we spoke with, including marketing, were all knowledgeable and genuinely cared about the residents’ comfort and enjoyment of the community, as well as the understanding the family’s concerns and wishes.

Friendly staff; quiet setting; nice size and layout of suites; full daily programming; competitive pricing.

In my opinion, the food service needs significant improvement. Meals are one of the things residents can look forward to each day, so the quality and variety are very important. I would also suggest reviewing the meal photos in the brochure, as they do not seem to reflect what is actually being served. I hope changes can be made to improve the dining experience. I would also like to mention what a blessing Celebration Villas has been. They offer so many activities, and it is reassuring to know that my family member is staying engaged and being well cared for. That has made a very positive difference.

I would give a 5 for each one of them. Very pleased with the place overall. They do seem to be short staffed, but that is typical of most nursing homes. Thank you fir the help in finding a place. The room is warm and she was allowed to decorate it with her own things. That is very different from the hospital like nursing home she had been in. I am in AZ and she us in PA and this was a tremendous help in locating a new place for her. My daughter lives close by. They have daily activities and she participates in a few. She is 101 and highly cognizant. The staff try to help her as much as they can. Overall the whole family is very pleased with the change.

The family are all pleased with their services offered to their residents. Mother liked the food served and she adjusted by talking to other residents and cooperated with the staff. We visited Celebration Villa a few times unannounced. Same conclusion..... did their best for Mother. We would recommend the Memory Care Facility to others,

I would give a 5 for all of the categories. No place is perfect, but the people are very caring and helpful and I am happy here. I've had to make a lot of changes in my life, and I have come a long way. Yes, I would recommend Venetian Gardens to anyone looking for a place to live.
