Very friendly

My in-laws have been at Rver Oaks for less than 2 weeks, but we have been very happy with everything there so far. I looked at the other retirement homes in the area and met with their representatives. River Oaks stood out in many ways. It is clean and well-maintained. It has beautiful grounds, great food and a wonderful staff. The management/owners do not mislead or put undue pressure on families trying to care for their elderly loved ones. There are no hidden fees. We are so grateful for River Oaks and the care they provide.

We started vacationing in Nevada County in 1951. Three years later we had a family vacation home in Nevada City. In 1971, my husband retired and we moved to Alto Sierra (Grass Valley). I lost my husband in 2009. In 2014 it was time for me to move to a retirement community. Hilltop Commons was an ideal fit for me.

We have lived here for 9 months. We love the area and enjoy the guests, everyone is so nice. The cleaning girls and the head cook are nice, Kelly and Larry Day are terrific.

Seem concerned about residents. Well run. Good food and well preserved. Clean and well maintained. Friendly staff. Glad I came here.

The activities, events & games are so very nice & enjoyable. Love my apt. and outdoor brunches by the pond and waterfall area. It's so lovely to have the beauty salon (+Wes + Tanya) handy here. My only wish is that the food improves - sometimes excellent - sometimes not.

They have made it very easy for setting things up. There could maybe be a little more assistance with helping the clientele out in the beginning. It is a little confusing for elderly coming in to a new spot.

Deanna was wonderful. She was patient and very thorough in explaining things to my dad. This is a major change for us and I want to say Thank you.

Great. Very impressed with the cleanliness and the staff. No assisted living available if it came down to that.

Overall they are doing a very good job. The food could stand to be improved a little. But mom loves the place, has a really nice little balcony with trees making it a very lovely and enjoyable atmosphere. There's a lot of socializing going on as it's a very friendly and open type place.

My loved one is incredibly happy and doing well. I'm satisfied with all services with Park Roseville Commons.

We had a very nice visit. My mother really liked the one bedroom. She did talk to a couple of women. A friend of my husband and I lives at the Arbor and they happened to show the room next to his. I nocked on his door and we talked to him and he showed us his smaller room. She did not like it.

This was a very nice looking place. It was very clean, and the staff we met seemed friendly. However, this location was solely independent living, and my loved one was in need of some care. We would definitely have considered this place if we were looking for independent living options!

They offered two meals a day and some flexibility in the process or plan you could choose. Their pricing was more expensive than others we were considering but they did offer full kitchens which my mom liked. They also had an eating bar between the kitchen and living room of the apartment - she like that too.

This is in price range. The people are older. Looks like an assisted living facility has been turned into independent. no carpet in halls. No convenient common areas and Back yard not landscaped. More vets are residents. Nice apartments! Three meals though. Will show Dad

This is my choice, so far. I have made 3 trips to this site. Each time I was able to tour the facility, so don't need to set up another tour. I am actually getting invitations in the mail for special activities Arbor has, even though I am not residing there.

if my son deceases, and my health holds up, this is the place i would move.

Very nice, clean, director was knowledgeable about the facility (although not prepared for my visit)...I REALLY REALLY liked their concepts of "studio" apt, prices nice, did not like having full kitchen in the apartment...not a great neighborhood, nice grounds, very nice and great for the price.
