I visit my mom at Danbury 3 times a week. Staff are always helpful, kind, and considerate. We eat lunch there together every Sunday. It is always good.

The employees and facility so far have been amazing. My mother feels so welcome and brags about her apartment and the facility to everyone she talks to. Now the only thing on my end that I see or at least feel, is the following: First thing is I understand it’s a private pay situation and the facility doesn’t deal with the LTC insurance companies like some others. It really seemed that the people at Danbury made it seem much easier to get the LTC reimbursement policies accept the overall situation and approve the resident. We were told over and over to NOT worry, things will be fine! To this date, we still do not have everything finalized and approved. I no everyone is different, but everyone needs to present things accurately and truthfully! I’m hoping all works out! Thanks

The staff is so pleasant and caring. I like the attention they give to the residents and the atmosphere overall is very nice! I especially like that the staff is always on the lookout for anything and are professional and discreet when necessary.

My grandmother is a resident here. She is so happy. She is thriving at 98 years old. The staff take great care of her. I know she is well taken care of and that gives me a sound peace of mind. Danbury provides lots of activities for the residents to participate in, including activities for loved ones to be apart of. My grandmother has a strong network of friends at Danbury that she adores.

We recently moved my mom into this facility and have had a wonderful experience with this assisted living community. The staff has been kind, caring, and welcoming, which has given our family peace of mind knowing our mom is being cared for. Making the decision to move our mom into assisted living was not an easy decision, but having a supportive team makes such a difference. [names removed] went above and beyond and were absolutely amazing!!! We appreciate the compassion, patience, and attention shown to our mom and our family. We are grateful to have found a place where she can receive care and feel comfortable. Thank you to everyone who helped make this transition easier for our family

My mother was a resident Storypoint for a short period of time and really enjoyed being there. The staff was so kind. Also, there is plenty of activities. My mom won a Bath Robe at Bingo. I highly recommend Storypoint if you are looking for Assisted Living.

My grandmother recently moved in and the staff were wonderful. The community is beautiful as well. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Glad to know my grandma is somewhere safe and being taken care of in every aspect! I would definitely recommend this place.

My Step-Mother moved into StoryPoint in March of 2026. She loves living there. She says it’s the best decision she’s made. She doesn’t need to worry about anything. She has cleaning and laundry services. She had her meals provided. She has transportation to her doctor appointments.

It's almost impossible to find the words to express how happy my husband and I are here. The staff is like family... There is nothing they will not do to help you in every way possible. For example , a bed I had ordered arrived with two bolts broken..... No problem , they just scooted in at twin until my bed arrives tomorrow. The food is superb , the quality , the tenderness , the flavor the staff , everything about it is a wonderful experience. More than anything , it feels like home and they do everything they can here to make sure you are protected medically and will assist you in facilitating any job!! We are in our eighties and feel that we can finally relax and just enjoy. There is an abundance of activities.\nAnd you can be as busy as you want to be. The management deserves ten stars!!!

I never imagined that my parents would need to be in a nursing home, but when my dad was diagnosed with dementia and my mom with cancer, I realized that I could not care for them. I am thankful that I found Oliver Woods. The staff is professional and caring. As difficult as all of this has been, I am comforted by knowing that my parents are safe and have many people that genuinely care for them. Oliver Woods has not just been an institution for my parents, it has been a home.

I am a health care worker and Gaslight staff really expressed me how compassionate the girls were about their work. The activities were amazing for the resident something for then to interact with each entertainment piece. The food was very impressive as well. My family felt our individual had a very good ending to his final days on earth. Thank you Gaslight.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. You walk in and you are greeted by the receptionist. The building is clean and beautiful. They have a lot to offer a far as meals and activities for the residents.

We used this facility for respite services. Staff and residents are very friendly. Loved being able to order food from a menu at each meal. This included a lot of variety and was very good. Nice areas to sit and walk around. Many activities to take advantage of.

The place is clean, quiet and the staff is friendly. The memory care is what we needed and our choice after touring four other locations. My mother has moved in seven months ago and so far, no regrets.

It was a very nice place. My father n law passed after be there for a week. It was very nice while there.

BEO is a wonderful place for an aging loved one. The administrator [name removed] always has a smile on her, makes a point to speak to me when she sees me and is always so kind. The staff go above and beyond for residents. Its a beautiful place and I'd gladly have my loved one live at BEO. They have a wonderful Therapy Team that's on site and even a hair dresser that all residents just love. Last but not least [name removed] the activities director is always coming up with new activities and new outings for residents they they have all enjoyed. They also have a top notch maintenance man Thank and cleaning staff that go above and beyond for residents.

My mom moved to Pinebrook a few months ago and the staff and residents couldn’t have been more welcoming! Everyone is so friendly and helpful, making sure she had someone to dine with and join activities. They have a lot of different things to encourage neighbors to get to know each other and fun outings. Last week they went downtown to see BLINK!

I moved there for 6 months til I relocated in TX to be near family. It was like a 6 month vacation for me with all the amenities included. Great people, great food and things to do (or not, your choice!). Pricy but worth every penny! Helpful in every aspect of your life. Sorry to have to leave.

I found the staff to be very helpful and they have always greeted me with a smile. My sister said she feels very safe and well taken care of there. I am happy I found her a good place to live with the help of A Place for Mom.
