When I started looking for caregivers to come in, Right at Home - Decatur was the first agency I spoke to and since I was so overwhelmed at the time dealing with my mom and preparing for our trip that I just went with them. Everyone that I spoke with was kind and caring to me, which I needed. The initial intake was on 2/23, but when I didn't hear from anyone about after several weeks, I finally called them and asked what was going on. I did get an email giving access to the Family Room, but I felt it was useless as I could not do anything with it. Then, I had to call again just a week before we left as I didn't see anyone on the schedule. I also informed them about leaving a key for the caregivers to use instead of ringing the bell, but was never relayed to them which caused chaos with our dogs and my mom.
