The nurses seemed very nice and helped my mom with everything she asked and were excellent at communicating with me. Hygiene can be challenging for some, but you’ll receive help with showering and bathing, toileting and incontinence care, grooming, and shaving. Your loved one will also receive any necessary reminders for taking medication, checking blood sugar or heart rate, attending upcoming appointments, and turning off appliances.</p> <p>Right at Home employs specialized caregivers who can help those who have had a stroke, are recovering from cancer, or have Parkinson’s, diabetes, arthritis, Alzheimer's, dementia, and many other conditions. Caregivers are trained to focus on what your loved one is capable of doing rather than on what they can’t. They’ll provide them with safety, assist with recognition and perception, and engage them in activities to support their cognitive abilities.</p> <p>If your loved one needs a higher level of care, home health aides are available. These caregivers are trained as a certified nursing assistant or patient care assistant. They can administer medication, check vital signs, change dressings, and assist with medical equipment.
