<p>To help reduce waste, save on postage, and avoid the risk of delays and late fees, Atria residents can make secure online payments automatically each month. The Community Business Director at the community of your choice can help you sign up upon move-in.</p>
<h3>Living Arrangements</h3>
<p>We offer a comfortable selection of studios, one-, and two-bedroom units. All of our units feature a quaint kitchenette, private bath, utility packages, and an emergency alert system to notify staff of any time-sensitive issues. We provide housekeeping and apartment maintenance services regularly, so residents never have to worry about upkeep or the hassle of chores.</p>
<h3>Care Types Offered</h3>
<p>Atria Westchase is a <em>Type B assisted living facility</em>. In the state of Texas, these terms are defined as follows:</p>
<h3>Assisted Living Facility</h3>
<p>A facility that provides personal care services and administration of medication to 4 or more residents. Assisted living facilities can accept residents with dementia and/or Alzheimer’s. There are 3 types of assisted living facilities:</p>
<p></p><dl><dt>Type A:</dt><dd>A facility that may provide room and board to residents who are physically and mentally capable of evacuating the facility unassisted.</dd><br>
<dt>Type B:</dt><dd>A facility that may provide room and board to residents who need assistance evacuating, are incapable of following directions under emergency conditions, require staff attendance during nighttime sleeping hours, and require assistance transferring to and from a wheelchair.</dd><br>
<dt>Type C (Adult Foster Care):</dt><dd>Four-bed facilities that meet the minimum standards and rules for enrollment in the Department of Aging and Disability Services’ Adult Foster Care home program. The facility provides supervision and personal care services to residents.</dd></dl><p></p>
