Bavarian Comfort Care
My father receives physical, speech and occupational therapy each week in house. The therapist are wonderful. The facility is newly renovated and very clean. Additional services offered make all the difference. In addition, I would also like to say that we have had several meetings with administration and they are easy to work with and help with individual circumstances.

Bavarian Comfort Care is an assisted living community in peaceful Bridgeport, Saginaw County, Michigan. Bridgeport is a small unincorporated community right outside of Saginaw. The dedicated staff at Bavarian Comfort Care offers assisted living and memory care services. The assisted living services allow residents to maintain their independence while receiving assistance with daily living where they need it. Residents at Bavarian Comfort Care have access to many on-site amenities including an in-house spa, activity center, and more.
Bavarian Comfort Care has quick access to the community. With grocery stores, shopping, and a large assortment of restaurants nearby, seniors at Bavarian Comfort Care find it easy to run their day-to-day errands. My experience with this facility was very disappointing. After my mother passed away, I did not receive the refund I expected. Once hospice became involved, I felt that the level of care from the facility declined, and I also had concerns about items being removed from my mother's room. Overall, it was a very upsetting experience. I would tell another family, to use a different community.

Bavarian was very welcoming when my family came to the community. Everyone made sure they say hi to use and checked to see if we needed anything. My grandmother loves to play bingo and the NASA astronaut visit via zoom was so cool.

I came on the weekend and popped in take a look at this building. There was a pastor giving a service to the residents. One of the workers showed me around, told me there was a new activity director that has been getting residents involved in a lot and I also liked that there were so many residents out for in the dining room for the meal when I left.

I recently toured this facility, it had nice sized rooms and I really liked that every room had it's own bathroom with a walk in shower in it. One of the caregivers met me at the door with a friendly smile and made my experience more welcoming.

It's an okay facility, but I wish we would've spent more time touring other facilities in the area prior to her arrival. My loved one, doesn't feel like their carpet is clean enough. The staff on the floor, are very nice to my loved one and to our family when we are visiting. The staff members who interact with my loved one are very nice and is pleased with how they treatthem. No signs of my loved one being mistreated. The family encourages my loved one to eat in the dining room to avoid being in the room all day. I would like to see more daily activities to have available. While I understand that costs of every thing goes up it's hard to justify more money when on a limited budget. Also, It's very obvious that the facility is showing signs of poor facility maintenance. Would like to see some pride taken in the appearance of all sides of the facility not just the front.

I will be always missing my mom. On [date removed] my last moments with her at 82 yrs old. The Lord has scooped her up to be with him forever. May she now be at peace. The medical assistants at Bavarian Comfort Care have been wonderful through these last days and also are extra special with my dad. Thank you all. The hands on touches we get from [name removed] the RN is very tuned in to her residents extra special knowledge of each of her patients/residents. She can help you know what you family member needs. The director of the facility is also right there when you need her, and is open and honest and really helpful with you to help you with your family’s needs. For me I have had both my mom and dad there. Now my momma is in a better place in heaven.

The facility seems very nice. It is assisted living and memory care. We weren't as impressed with the memory care wing. It seemed more hospital atmosphere. They prefer to have residents in the common area,so it easier to keep an eye on them. The dining area does not have structured seating. We didn't feel that this would be a good fit for Mother.

This is a very good community, and I am very pleased. They are caring for my mother very well. The community is very nice and everything is clean and neat. The staff has been very good, they are very good at what they do. The communication between me and staff is great. They have very good rates as well. The director has been very helpful, she is wonderful. The food looks great and she enjoys the meals. I am very happy with everything they have for us.

Very Clean and friendly employees. Makes you very comfortable when entering the home. It makes you feel like it's not a nursing home, but your love ones home. Their rooms are very spacious and you can decorate the room that makes you love one feel like they are at their own home. My mother has only been there for about a week, but so far I'm very satisfied with the care she is receiving. They always keep in contact with the family if anything is going on with your love one, physical therapy, etc. I feel very comfort knowing that she is well being taken care of.
