Her unit is spotless, the staff are friendly and attentive, the patients are clean and dressed nicely. She has structured activities of all types throughout the day and even had decorations that she made with the residents out and around the unit. Linda and she came to my parents home on two occasions and answered all of our questions so very patiently and even engaged with my dad in such a kind and professional manner. My family and I were so impressed with the entire process. My mom stayed in the assisted living side of the Clarendale since she needed help using the restroom and showering. The nursing staff supported my mom as well as my dad so that the stress of caring from my mom wasn't completely on my dad. My parents ate all of their meals in the dining room daily and my dad enjoyed making friends with the other men that lived there as well. My parents are back home now, but they were so happy that the Clarendale was able to help them when they were in a very challenging and stressful situation.
