My longtime friend and former business partner lives in Assisted Living at Hilltop Springs, and I always enjoy visiting him. He is happy, comfortable, and clearly well cared for. We often share a meal together, and the food is consistently amazing. It gives me great peace of mind knowing he has found such a wonderful place to call home. [name removed] was a wonderful guide, who took a lot of time with us and answered all our questions. The campus is beautiful and the chef was very cool; his food sounds delicious. We are really looking forward to living there!

Hilltop Springs is a beautiful facility. There are many activity options for seniors who are need of memory care. They have the ability to engage in swimming and bowling with the accompaniment of staff. The common areas are spacious and serve many purposes. Excercise classes and floral design classes are other offerings I was made aware of. Residents are also taken to the main dining area once weekly to interact with assisted living guests which would give them a sense of inclusion. The many offerings due come with a high price tag however.

Don't send loved ones here, they don't respond to call button very promptly. Can be over 15 minutes or more. I usually end up calling front desk. They don't even empty wastebaskets unless requested. Not a place to fall! Keep phone nearby at all times. 911 will arrive before they/Hilltop does. Not alone with this complaint of poor call button response.

In memory care our experience was the care was simply adequate and that was with my mom going in every single day to make sure basic needs were being met. Without that there would be no confidence that is was. Some staff were kind and compassionate but not all. On a number of occasions they forgot to bring my dad his dinner. The food was not always very good. The experience was not ideal for the price that was paid When my dad passed away no one from the facility ever called or followed up with my mom. Had my mom not constantly been attentive it would not have even been as good as it was. There were specific staff who were great, though. Just pretty unimpressive overall

Overall great. Cleanliness great. Friendless 98%. Quality of care 98% Admin. Fine. Food 85%. Activities 99%. Value 95% There was only two workers there that were not friendly. They need more variety to feed them. Mom was a picky eater but didn't always have a choice of what they served and she just wanted cereal or soup.

The Hilltop Springs apartments are very accommodating with a variety of sizes and features. The food is good and I like that there is a menu to choose from if one does not want the special. The staff is efficient, friendly and they get things done--cooks, waitresses, maintenance, housekeeping, and those who are at the front desk.

99% of the staff was great. There are always a couple of people who shouldn't be working with the elderly. They need to have more choices for those in memory care. Mom needed a clean airy room with space to move around and her own bathroom/ shower. The open area was very nice. We were allowed to have family gatherings there also!

Have had our Mom here since the opening and the best way to describe the way this place is run is by “bait and switch” sales techniques. They promise you the moon and under deliver every single step of the way. Then increase prices and take things away!Very disappointed in the “care” they pretend to offer residents. If you love your parents, don’t leave them here. It’ a shiny new facility for someone incredibly independent but once anyone shows any signs of needing help, the employees aren’t allowed to do it even if they want to unless the facility charges extra for it. Assisted living residents pay a lot more and still get lost and no one cares when you call the front desk to tell them. There are zero wellness checks on the independent side even in acute health situations which is ridiculous as a human being. I would check on my young healthy neighbors if someone called and asked me too. Also, everyone is sick & it’s been weeks since they cleaned the elevators buttons so no surprise!

1 - 7 I rate a 5. Value for the money I'm not sure. I have made no comparisons with other homes. We are very pleased by the facility, the staff is very nice, the people living here have been very welcoming and inclusive to new residents. I'm very grateful for Hilltop Springs.

I was invited to tour Hilltop Springs, & let me tell you, the residential rooms are gorgeous, inviting, and comfortable. But that was only the beginning. Just steps away from what residents call home, awaits an impressive movie theater, a wonderful indoor pool, including hot-tub, a top notch game room with two bowling allies, (you heard right, I said bowling —whoo hoo.) Card tables and chairs also were present, plus A fabulous pool table that kept calling my name. Standing close to the kitchen awarded me mouth-watering scents while viewing the decorative and spacious dining room, which triggered my half heartedly joking about a chocolate milk shake. Well, to my delighted surprise, I was offered one to take out to the patio for that portion of the tour. Out doors the grounds are immaculate, and the furnishings of chairs and tables definitely evokes eye appeal, in fact, their interior decorator is a genius. All the arranged furniture is grand. I’d be blessed to call Hilltop my home.

We had a great tour and an easy move in, once state rules were followed. My friend has had a hard time adapting to this lovely place,even though the staff is very caring and trying hard to help. The meals must be pretty good as she eats them all up. She is encouraged to participate in all the activities such as bowling,flower arranging, even paintng and gardening. Even at 92 they try to keep her busy and interested. There is a visiting Doctor which makes it easier on us to not have to take her out for that service. They are able to handle the medications very well. I feel she is safe at Hill top Springs. I don't worry about her knowing that they are taking good care of my loved one.

The caregivers and personnel are warm,friendly and really do care. It feels like family The facility is lovely and open. One thing that we really liked is that all of the rooms in memory care open to a great room living space instead of closed off corridors The food is good and the care staff wonderful The activities director is out of this world great! Even the main reception staff is lovely

Staff change over is frequent which is why we gave the overall experience a 3. The care services get a 4 due to limited staff and turnover. The meals and dining services is declining due to high costs. Memory Care is a challenge anywhere in the state. But they due their best.

Staff can't remember to make the bed although it is a service included in my $[removed]/month charges. I must request it daily. Place not well managed. Clean and new but otherwise not a place for mom. Can't recommend it.

The staff was very nice. Her room was well taken care of. There was one disappointing. When she moved in the main dining room had a full menu. A lot of choices, almost like a restaurant. After awhile, that all changed. Limited menu, like one size fits all. It felt like a bait and switch situation.

When we first arrived at Hilltop Springs Memory Care my mom's medication were not administered correctly such as wrong medications at wrong times. This went on for many weeks in which I was there everyday for weeks to make sure my mom was getting the right medications. They are completely understaffed, the staff has minimal to zero training, the staff is overworked due to the shortage of staffing (I have witnessed a staff member sleeping on the couch). My mom was never supposed to be alone due to her dementia and was always alone and has fallen many times until she fell and broke her hip. The staff as well as managers would call me constantly at my work to help her my mom's anxiety to calm her down with me talking with her instead of them doing their job. The lack of communication between families and staff members is very unsafe and residents are consistently unsupervised creating an extremely unsafe environment! When visiting my mom I found her in bed sleeping in her own urine/feces
