Everything was clean and Mom really liked the staff. They were very friendly and it appeared they had plenty of caregivers. My only issue was there were a few times they did not make sure that my mom didn't miss a meal. I told them several times that Mom would refuse food and they had to be insistent. Then Mom would complain to me she hadn't ate that day. I was overall pleased. They were very kind to my mom. One last thing: The parking was way too limited.

The interior is bright, airy and inviting. The building, inside and outside, is well kept. There are several lovely places to sit and visit outside. The residents appear to be happy there. I made an instant connection with the sales person, who gave me some very helpful information about the VA.

It is a small facility but feels like home and I would highly recommend this assisted living facility. All the staff from the director to the front desk, to the kitchen staff, to medical/nursing staff, every single person has been so kind and caring and genuine with my grandmother. I am so relieved and happy we chose this place as her new home. She raves about how delicious the food is. The facility is always clean. The staff are all so welcoming and helpful. 10 out of 10

My every experience with Sunrise of Providence has been outstanding. Staff are unfailingly pleasant, courteous competent, and prompt in meeting needs. The residence has a happy atmosphere: welcoming, attractive, clean, and peaceful. It's an answer to prayer for my family member.

We love the home feeling and the care that they provide. I know my mom is safe. We love the fact that they meet all needs of the residents whether hair and nails or doctor scheduling and transportation. It's all inclusive. Everything is added to the one bill which is great....plus all meals and cable are included which is a huge bonus! We love that they have a resident nurse practitioner and allow for home health care, which Sunrise manages all.

[name removed] and I have both been pleased with the services provided. From front desk staff to nursing assistance to nursing and administration we are pleased. Nutritional standards are superior. Our only concern is that there is a limited parking, and in our case, it makes it very difficult for our older relatives who would otherwise visit. I feel this deficit is not therapeutic for the residents and I hope that that might change.

I really liked the tone that was set by the Sunrise-on-Providence Assisted Living Coordinator [name removed] on day #1- resident-centric with lots of care given to attention to details and care of residents/family. What I experienced was staff with patience, following their plans but made time for my dad and us, his sons, upon request. Food was above average for sure; special holiday meals were a BIG deal and felt that way to all. I also enjoyed the diversity of the staff…members from various countries who both listened to and gave their own stories. Dad loved that! The facility was clean, medication team was superb and we could always reach management, as needed! Laundry service was very helpful and overall we felt this was the BEST local choice for our dad!

Loved Sunrise. Could not have taken care of [name removed] without them. I would rate all of these a 5. They went out of their way to make [name removed] comfortable. The main thing about the staff is that they always let me know what was going on. I had to ask very few questions.

Unfair charging practices without confirmation of actual costs. They continue monthly to this day. Negotiated pricing seemed to be forgotten and had to be reviewed more than once. When moving mother in law in, there were charges submitted that were eventually dismissed, but wee totally never even discussed. Corrective maintenance that was corrected prior to move in took weeks after mother in law was moved in to correct. I gave pictures to the facility, they should be on file with facility.

They were caring however I feel that the patients didn't get the care that they needed as a dementia patient needed. I felt they simply rolled them up to the dining hall and turned the tv on.. little to no engagement...there should be some form of therapy, if there's something memory...some engagement with activities that stimulate the mind ...

The reason we chose Sunrise of Providence over others we looked into initially was because they were able to provide a higher level of support than other Assisted Living facilities. The caregivers always provided good care with respect and kindness.

it is crazy to charge [ fee removed] for a meal you already pay for. I can maybe see a $10 flat day rate but even that adds up quickly. It is wicked expensive and you worry the money will run out. Yes I would recommend them to other families but would have to warn them about them bringing your meal cost per meal.

My mother is currently a resident at Sunrise of Providence and the experience has been great. The facility is clean and safe. The staff are attentive and committed to the residents. I would certainly recommend this facility to others.
