My wife has been a resident at TerraBella for the last year. She has adjusted nicely and enjoys residing at the facility. The administration does a great job in providing a clean building on a daily basis. As a visitor, I make it a point to visit my wife daily, and as such am able to observe the hard work that goes into the cleanliness of this facility. I have also been impressed with the quality of care provided by the nursing assistants. For the most part, they are hard working and make every attempt to serve the residents on a timely basis. In comparison to other facilities of which my wife as been a resident, this group of nursing assistants has a much better attitude as well as a very positive work ethic. We recently toured the community with [name removed] for our mom who was informed that her community was closing on [date removed]. She had only just moved in two weeks ago and we were devastated by the news. [name removed] was able to find us a beautiful apartment in their memory care community and we will be moving in next week. The staff at Little Avenue has been amazing and very comforting for our family during this difficult transition.

It was beautiful. I couldn't believe all the space. The staff was in knowledgeable and very helpful. Cleanliness was a plus and a priority for me. I did not talk much with folks living there. Everyone was attending a party. Loved my gift.

Their actual staff to resident ratio in assisted living is about 1:18. And their response time to requests is annoyingly slow. Their weekend staff and management is iffy at best, with lots of call outs.

My family lives in South Charlotte and this location is very convenient for us to go to visit my Aunt [name removed]. She seems happy and has lived there for a few years. Her place is kept very tidy and the aides really seem to know when to help and when to let her do things independently

They have the friendliest and most helpful caregivers. I was visiting my Mom and noticed how everyone went the extra mile for her. Her room is always very clean and we especially love [name removed] who makes sure Mom is included in the activities (especially Bingo) . Thank you TerraBella!!

The staff at Terra Bella is caring and compassionate. They care about the residents with genuine care and concern. They engage with them daily and knows their likes and dislikes. It has been a pleasure working with them.

In my personal experience, Terra Bella Assisted Living failed my family in ways I will never forget. We entrusted them with the care of my mom, who had severe Alzheimer’s, for less than 24 hours — and what we witnessed was deeply distressing. When we arrived, we found her in a condition that no family should ever have to see: overheated, with a 101 fever, unattended, and clearly not checked on or cared for in the way we were assured she would be. My mom passed away within 24 hours of being in their care. In my view, they offered no meaningful support, action, or accountability during or after this nightmare of an experience. They initially agreed to refund the money we had put down, but once we followed up, they became completely unresponsive. At this point, they refuse to communicate at all, leaving us without answers and without the refund they promised. I would never recommend this facility to anyone who cares about the wellbeing of a loved one in their final days.

It was a difficult situation but I feel like they worked to make the best of it. I always felt like they were nice and loving towards my mother. And also kind to us during difficult times. Quality of care is a 5 especially in memory care. Hard to tell with the meals and dining. I appreciated that they made sure she went to the dining room and brought food to her room when she was under the weather. [name removed] worked hard to try to have activities that would interest and engage them. Value for cost is hard to rate. Probably about the same as similar places. It felt like a lot, but not out of line with the market. We looked at 7 places. Terrabella seemed like a good fit for her (a little smaller than other places, not as overwhelming). I was very happy with our choice.

TerraBella Memory Care is an extraordinary facility. Their staff takes wonderful care of my mom who is over 101 and has been a resident there for 2 1/2 years. I phone nightly and am given helpful status reports before I speak with her. I am a neurologist and have seen many facilities and few have the dedicated, compassionate, knowledgeable and upbeat staff that this facilty has. In particular, I would like to commend [name removed] & [name removed]who I know best as well as [names removed] & all the others. I am reassured by the fact that my mom has such excellent care. In addition [name removed], the hospice nurse, is outstanding. When I visit it is a delight to interact with the staff. Our family is very fortunate that our mom is so well taken care of.

Overall, I think this is a nice facility. It's a smaller community, probably better suited for people looking for a small environment. With less residents, people here seem to know each other a little better. The staff is very friendly, helpful, and willing to do what needs to be done. Communication with the family is pretty good. Housekeeping is done often and seems to be more than adequate. Mom's room and the hallways/general areas are always more than clean. They just did major remodeling and it looks very updated now. The food is good with a good variety. The activities are pretty average compared to other facilities, but good. Depending on who I was talking to and what they were looking for, I would recommend this facility to family and friends.

The staff was amazing. They were extremely caring and built real relationships with the residents. I was welcome to come visit at any time. Any rules they had were to protect the safety and security of the residents.

We wanted to move into TerraBella a few years ago but there was no openings so we moved dad elsewhere. I feel like his level of care with Terrabella is top notch as well as the cleanliness of his room. The staff is incredible which is especially impressive right now with everyone having staffing issues. They know who I am and always address me and tell me something about my dad or ask me questions, they are very engaged. I would and have recommended them.

After touring, the problem for us was they were fresh into a management change. They had just been bought out and were going through a lot of procedural changes. I could just tell talking to the staff that they didn't necessarily seem on board with the changes the new management wanted to initiate.

The rooms at the community are nice, we had no complaints. While everyone was nice, there was some confusion one more then one occasion about visiting. They are trying trying to adjust the visiting with covid, but not only were the personal visits correct we had a virtual visit that was also not correct as far as time
