Some larger suites have little outdoor private balconies arts for your person to set up a chair for some fresh air . That said, I found the facilities in both units sizable, well laid out and well maintained and the staff in both instances professional while being approachable, accommodating and friendly with both residents and visitors. The dining facilities are fine and the food plentiful and acceptable but not great. There seem to be plenty of activities available for residents who want to participate. The grounds surrounding Amberleigh are nice and very well maintained. I wish my dad would have been willing to check them out to begin with but he was set on staying in Cheektowaga. The assisted living set up is easier to meet others, but I hoping he will make some friends in the next month. There was more staff encouragement to attend activities at Peregrine.
