For approximately four of the five years she suffered with aphasia making it very difficult to communicate with her. We were extremely blessed to be able to have her become a resident at Village crossing the last year and a half of her life. The best way to have her interact with the staff was through her smile. A facility like village crossing is only as functional as the staff. The staff is tremendous and sincere. They are considered like family with their Christmas card on my refrigerate. The staff gave my wife the opportunity to live the last several months of her life with dignity and respect as a lifelong educator. I am sure my wife considered them angels helping her manger a very difficult situation. The staff's live for her went above and beyond their job duties. I have been advocating and will continue to advocate Village Crossing because of the deep connection between the resident and the stuff. They truly live the job they do and we are very apperceive that my wife has a chance to experience their first class caregiving.
