[name removed] & his team helped out a lot until I could find an assisted care in Allen Park.

Would like to see a little more interactive time with mom but that might not be possible. Otherwise it is a 5 rating.

They made everything easy. At first there was a problem finding consistent help but [name removed] worked really hard to find aides that were able to work with us. Everyone was extremely caring and thoughtful. I truly appreciate the help and the effort that was put in every day.

Owner was quick in responding to my application that I placed with A Place for Mom and came over the same day. I really liked her and hired them. I only needed them for a short period of time and the caregivers did a good job.

For the most part the aides were excellent. However there were a couple who seemed to just be putting in their hours. Most of the aides were helpful and caring and did help cook , clean and help with personal care.

We were happy but unfortunately our mom passed away within a month of us using Home Instead agency. The administrators we dealt with were excellent. We had two aides one was much better than the other. The good side was self motivated the other would do anything but you had to ask.

They do their best to cover all shifts. The caregivers for the most part are kind and professional. My opinion for the 4 star instead of 5… They give too much leniency to the caregivers as to “if they want the client” and they don’t seem to have “on call caregivers”, for when employees call out. Thus leaving the client hanging on occasions.

The online account that the caregiver made daily notes in made things easy to track, I enjoyed that immensely. My FIL's caregiver was kind and went above and beyond on several occasions. It was def easier speaking directly to the caregiver than calling but we were asked to call the office to make schedule changes so I usually ended up calling both when I did make changes. In the end he needed more of a daily assisting and we were sad to have to part from them.

Easy to work with. Friendly and helpful

Reliable and punctual , easy to start , good communicators . My problem was how unhappy the caregivers were with their employers.

It's a new business and they are just getting started. Learning the process. Has room for improvement. They are on the right track.

Good experience. some minor issues scheduling help on holidays.

What we like the most about their services is that the caregiver truly cared about my mother. The office was very responsive whenever contacted. Yes, we would recommend Elderly Caregivers LLC - Connecticut to other families.

I appreciate the personal connection [name removed] made sure to make. Also each of the facilities we toured followed up but were not pushy

Most of the caregivers were good but there were a few that Mom did not care for and requested to not return. Overall experience was positive. I wish that the caregivers were a bit more skilled. There were 3 or 4 that were phenomenal and we may have raised our expectations because of their excellent work.

They called me back. Provided the services I needed. [name removed] at CK HEB has been wonderful. She is attentive, responsive and cares about my mom.

We had a terrific experience with Home Instead’s care of my mother in law. She suffered stroke and needed help with the progressive decline in her ability to cook, bathe and walk. The assigned team of caregivers were well prepared and capable of providing the care she needed throughout the stages of her incapacity. Very respectful of the family’s wishes and we partnered well as a cohesive team. There were a few slips in coverage where a caregiver had an unexpected absence. This was very rare and did not cause hardship. Again, want to acknowledge the high level of care and true feeling of compassion we received from the Charleston, SC Home Instead organization.

They're helpful and once a request is received, they're responsive.

I received several options from you. After looking at each website, I chose three to talk to over the phone. From those phone calls, two representatives came to the house to explain their plans of care. The one we selected was a good fit.

The scheduler is very flexible and understands how family schedules often change. We moved from 24hour care to 12 hour care with ease. We are very pleased with the staff taking care of mom now.
