Atria

My mom came for a month of respite after a fall. All of the staff was welcoming and helpful. We were able to arrange home health and PT right in her room. It was nice to have the kitchen for snacks and leftovers. She enjoyed the patio. The food was wonderful. The menu is diverse and has healthy options. It was nice to have plenty of room for friends and family to visit. It really was the perfect place for the situation we were in.

The staff is very friendly and there are activities going on all the time. There are themed activities too such as western day, 60s day and sports team day. The facilty is always clean and fresh. I haven't tried the food but there are several options to choose from. My loved one said the food is very good. She especially likes the desserts. There is a large porch with rocking chairs that is very popular. The facilty is in an area where there is not a lot of car traffic and it is safe to walk around the facilty for exercise.

I have been here at atria since April of this year and really happy that I am in this senior community which is focused on social and not medical. I have a studio apartment which has turned out to be perfectly comfortable in size with plenty of room for all I need and less expensive. The facility is well kept up and offers many many activities and excursions and entertainment. They have their own small theater with movies shown every day at 1:00 and 7:00. The the food is very good with a lot of variety and the dining room staff is very nice and accommodating to one's needs. They offer a lot of various types of activities for exercise such as yoga weights instructions for stretching, balance and you can get guidance from a personal trainer. I have no complaints about Atria and am enjoying living here

I spent an enjoyable 2+ hours with my host [name removed]. He was very personable and knowledgeable. All my questions were answered to my satisfaction. He gave me a very comprehensive tour of Atria Del Rey. I was very impressed with Atria and the people including the staff, I am considering making it my home. I will be touring a couple of other local senior living facilities before making a final decision.

It was very complete and [name removed] did a wonderful job of answering questions and showing us through the facilities.

[name removed], the Director is very professional and listens to my concerns and fixes any issues efficiently. [name removed], the Memory Care Director, is always available, answers my calls. When she needs to divert to a different position to help the team out she does. The consistency and care that they provide is exceptional and I feel like it is a great family effort taking care of my mom.

I've been here four years now, and wish that I got here sooner. The activities are plentiful and varied, and my needs are anticipated and taken care of. I definitely eat everything that is on my plate, the food is that good.

I tried to visit a friend once a month. I’ve always found the community welcoming in the staff very friendly. I have sent with them during their happy hour and meal time and food looks delicious with a nice variety.

[name removed] was very informative, and listened carefully to my father’s questions and concerns. The tour was covered the different accommodations available for my father, with particular attention to his interests.

The place is extremely clean, the staff are terrific and so caring with my mom. Her room is very nice, cleaned every day always organized. Mom enjoys the food she says and they have a good selection and she has been eating very well. I would certainly recommend Atria they are taking good care of Mom.

The room is at Atria Willow Park is so perfect for my mom. It's a good size, very clean and accessible to many things. We also enjoy that Mom has friends there that really care about her. The staff there are very kind and helpful. The transition was smooth and she is so happy to be there.

Atria is top star it's clean, all their people are helpful and super friendly and caring. The food is prepared by chefs. We have specialists every day and we can ask for anything off-menu if it's available I was at [community removed] prior to here and that was a horror show shared room for the same price. I'm paying here. I have private apartment microwave sink refrigerator, walk-in closet double Shower, a huge room, but I am able to take care of myself without any extra care from them so far probably if I was to become disabled in some other way, I might have to move, which would break my heart. They also provide Rides to our doctors doctors Rides come before pleasure outings and they have weekly outings. Also pure walking scenic drives sometimes Special restaurants we have crafts at least three times a week bingo a couple times a week. They have musical entertainment once every two weeks.

Wonderful tour. Property is beautiful and well maintained. Lunch was excellent and table service excellent. My Ambassadors were welcoming and happy residents. Other Residents were all smiles. Great Day, including pickup and drop off with [name removed].

My dad has had a really rough adjustment, but I can't say a single bad word about Atria Kew Gardens. At this point, I'd give it a 5/5. The staff is all incredibly responsive and friendly, the entire place is clean and welcoming, and they deliver in what they promise in terms of services. I would of course recommend them to others!

We love Atria!! Mother receives wonderful care from all of the staff--[name removed] working the front desk knows everything or will find it out when we have questions. [name removed] , the nurse, takes wonderful care of my mom. She always answers right away if I have a question and is great about explaining her health to me. [name removed] and [name removed], the caregivers, are always kind, helpful and so good at what they do. The ladies who work in the dining room are always so helpful and kind.[name removed] does such a great job planning activities and went out of her way to make her 100th birthday so special. I say the same thing each time--they have never made me mad. Not that I get mad easily--but if you're taking care of your parents, you need to be protective of them. I'm her advocate. I rest easy since she moved there and it was a year in August. She will be 101 in 3 months and she is living a pretty great life!

The best pluses I saw were the warm smiles of the attentive staff, eagerness to please the client and family, cleanliness of the whole facility and value for the money. I was impressed with the bedrooms having attached bathrooms. And that there were windows all over keeping the inside atmosphere, bright and sunny.

The Labor Day event at Atria was really lovely and wonderful. The food was very good and everything was arranged so beautifully. All of the people there seemed to genuinely love being there and looked happy. They were all very social with each other and staff and this was really nice to see. The place is lovely and so well kept. Everything was clean and I loved the fresh flowers.

My friend is extremely happy there. The staff is helpful and kind, and the facility is kept clean. The apartment has everything she needs and she loves the view of the courtyard. I have joined her on several occasions for lunch and have been impressed with the quality of the food. There are activities all week long, including discussions, lectures, art shows and games. She also likes being walking distance to town and occasionally strolls around. There also a free service that you can sign up for and they will transport you anywhere within a certain number of miles. That makes it convenient to go to a doctor's appointment, or a store. There is also a hair salon on the Atria site where she can get her hair done, and she's been happy with the service and results! I I love that I can park in the lot when visit my friend! I highly recommend Atria in Great Neck.
