Great experience. Dedicated staff. No turnover in have seen. Its always clean & smells nice. Plenty of stuff to do for those who choose to participate. Food is good quality with nice dining experience. Room size meets need.

I rate all of them as a 5 so far. Always clean and everyone is friendly. My mom seems well taken care of. Always clean and the food is what she likes. Home southern cooking. All the staff from the front desk to the nurses and Evs are always friendly and helpful. I feel that my mom is well taken care of and safe. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for elderly care. It's a hard decision to make and they make it so much easier.

My mother loves it here and it is a great place for senior living.

I have prayed that this would be a good facility for my sister’s memory care, and God answered my prayers. In the last nine months, my sister has declined, I would say, 90%. It is so sad, but I do believe she is in a good place now and is being taken good care of. The price at Shady Gardens is affordable. The staff is excellent, and as you know, each of us who has a loved one in a memory care facility is concerned about their overall care. [name removed]'s hair is always clean and combed when I get there, no matter what time I arrive. [name removed] has become urinary incontinent, but whenever I visit, she is always clean. She seems to be adjusting well. It took a couple of weeks, but she is doing so much better. Of course, she always wants to come back home with me, but I was told by the nursing staff that all dementia patients say the same thing. There's always a receptionist at the front desk seven days a week, which is very important to me when I go to see my loved one. The food is excellent. I feel [name removed] is adjusting, and for the first time in a while, I feel at ease. This is such a terrible disease to have. This may not mean much to anyone else, but it was a blessing to me. When I first looked at the place, I noticed what looked like a built-in bookcase, and it's actually very pretty. The first thing I thought of was [name removed]'s baby dolls. She has been collecting dolls for a long time. I drove to her home in Donelsonville, picked up about 40 of them, and brought them back to place on her shelf. Every time I go to see her, she always wants to show me her baby dolls. Also, the outside of the building is very pretty, with flowers and trees. She has a courtyard right outside her window. Unfortunately, [name removed] doesn't notice it, but I do. It's just a great place for [name removed] to be right now. I know I said a lot, but I am very happy with this place.

I'd give 5 stars. Room size is a little small but perfect for the need. Quality of care is excellent. PT/OT on site. Low to zero staff turnover in about 10 months. Each staff member seems to know each resident and their family. Plenty of activities and mostly good food (I'm just too choosy). Each resident is serve meals in a nice dining area as if it were a restaurant. Very clean facility. Pipes froze on my mother's wing last December. Staff worked hard to avoid moving residents to another facility while demolition & renovation is conducted. Reconstruction is underway. Residents on that wing were placed two to a room in another wing temporarily with a small cost adjustment. Better than relocation.

We absolutely love Shelby Garden!! they have been phenomenal with my grandfather! All of the staff is very well knowledge and dealing with cranky old men! They have done a phenomenal job and have amazing bedside manners.

The moment I walked in someone was there to greet me. [removed name] was friendly and answered all my questions. During the tour I noticed that the place is clean and organized. The dining rooms are nice and the food is delicious. I recommend anyone looking for assisted living for themselves or loved ones to tour SG to see what they have to offer.

The staff there are wonderful. They are very helpful, supportive and friendly. My mom loves her space and so do my sister and I. It's just the right amount of space for her. We know that she's safe but my mom still feels like she has some independence. There are a variety of activities daily for my mom to participate in and she participates in them regularly and has made new friends and become social again. My mom likes that she has choices for each meal and can choose what she likes to eat. It has been a great experience from the tour to the move in. It's obvious that everyone has been trained to work with residents with dementia. They are all kind and patient.

We needed a place for a friends widow for a short term stay until arrangements could be made to get her back to the Philippines. We were very pleased with Shelby Gardens that worked with us to get her placed quickly

The staff were very nice and helpful. I was very comfortable there. Every question I had was answered immediately with no confusion. It was also very clean. I will most definitely be visiting again soon!

With the exception of great staff members with a positive attitude, each day brings a different atmosphere. It’s also has a nice love warming employees/caretakers, guiding, helping. I truly appreciate this place.

The memory care facility is well designed and clean. The staff is professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Feels more homey than institutional. Residents are well cared for and treated with respect.

We have just gotten home after visiting with my father for Family Night at Shelby Gardens Place. The staff was so friendly and attentive and the dinner was just lovely. We are so grateful for the staff and residents who have been so kind and take such good care of our dad.

Thank you Shelby Gardens for being exactly what our family needed! I so appreciate the love and patience your staff has shown us! This has been a wonderful place for my aunt to recover from a broken hip. Thank you for all the work from the therapy department, the cooks, the cleaning crew, the nurses, and the office staff and management for keeping her involved with daily planned activities and monthly field trips… God bless the hands that work in this field!

My mom moved to Shelby Gardens Assisted Living in the [date removed] after a fall. She later moved in the [date removed] to the memory care side. On both the assisted living and memory care sides, the care givers are so patient and kind. They treat mom with dignity and respect. I don’t worry about her, because I know she is in good hands with the attentive staff. I think we made a great choice when we moved mom to her place at Shelby Gardens.

I recently visited the facility for a friends and family event. The staff and the facility were exceptional, especially the customer service. All residents and families looked happy during my time at the facility.

Shelby Gardens’ atmosphere makes my mom feel like she’s really home. The facility is welcoming with a friendly staff and care for the residents. The staff makes sure residents are comfortable. The nursing staff is knowledgeable and caring. The facility itself is really nice and clean. Every effort is made to make the residents feel like this is their permanent home.

The staff is friendly and kind. They are quick to respond to concerns and tentative to the resident’s needs. A little more effort and care should be put into the menu and food preparation. This is the only complaint my mother has about this establishment.

Shelby Gardens provides all the services you wish you had at home. They are attentive to the residents and they provide great activities so they can interact with each other. The place is kept clean. The food is also good. It's nice that services like PT are provided on site. Great residence!

This is a nice facility. The workers seem to really care about their residents. The attendance recognize you when you come through the door. Everyone is so friendly. My stepfather is happy here and his needs are met. The Thanksgiving family dinner event is very nice.
