The staff is excellent, and as you know, each of us who has a loved one in a memory care facility is concerned about their overall care. She seems to be adjusting well. It took a couple of weeks, but she is doing so much better. Of course, she always wants to come back home with me, but I was told by the nursing staff that all dementia patients say the same thing.\n\nThere's always a receptionist at the front desk seven days a week, which is very important to me when I go to see my loved one.\n\nThe food is excellent. She has been collecting dolls for a long time. I drove to her home in Donelsonville, picked up about 40 of them, and brought them back to place on her shelf. Every time I go to see her, she always wants to show me her baby dolls.\n\nAlso, the outside of the building is very pretty, with flowers and trees. She has a courtyard right outside her window. Staff worked hard to avoid moving residents to another facility while demolition & renovation is conducted. Reconstruction is underway. Residents on that wing were placed two to a room in another wing temporarily with a small cost adjustment.
