I took my mom to see Arbour Square. We met with [name removed] (marketing director) and she was a very pleasant woman. She showed us around the facility, we had lunch, and we viewed an apartment that was fully furnished. It was lovely. The right amount of room, a nice little kitchen, large bathroom and decent sized bedroom and a living room/dining combination. We met some of the residents, all of whom were very friendly. There were people in almost every area we went into, some playing cards, others just finished an exercise class. Lots of activities, trips to the store, lots of things to do and people around. We really liked it here.

I went with my Nana and we had many different places to look at but this was our first and only stop. The staff and other folks living there made us feel so special. She said this is home.

I have lived here for four years and really have nothing but praise for The Cottages of Monroe. There are tons of activities if you want to participate, ranging from movies, complete with popcorn and junior mints, to Bible study, exercise classes and monthly wine and cheese birthday parties. I love having all utilities included in my rent and there’s usually very little wait for the maintenance man when you need anything done, inside or out. The director and staff are exceptional. You’d love it here.

I came to see my friend for her 100th birthday party and boy was I impressed! The building was very clean and kept! We had some light snacks during live music for their happy hour! They have so many options as far as drinks go and watching so many people socialize with friends and every single person told my friend happy birthday! The staff were incredible, keeping everything a surprise and making sure we had a private room! It’s nice to see her happy and smiling and she feels a part of a family here! Thank you to the staff for making her feel so special.

The staff is wonderful. My apt is big. I love the neighborhood. They have helpful activities this week checking hearing aids,replacing batteries or any questions about your aids for hearing. They have shopping,grocery, the malls. I don't participate because I work. They have games,exercise at the pool. I love the trees,flowering trees the area is nice all the neighbors are nice. Water is FREE!

Enjoyed the tour and my mother decided to choose this one. Moving her in today and tomorrow. Sampled the food and was very good. Seemed to have plenty of activities.

We had a great tour and are excited to move in! We tried the food for lunch and it was excellent! Looking forward to finishing life here with my wife and meeting new people! The team was knowledgeable and helped me and my family every step of the way here.

This facility was quite nice and exceeded my expectations. The staff was very friendly and helpful as well. However, at 69 years old, I feel that I am not at the point where I need or desire this type of facility. I love to do my own cooking and would prefer an apartment with a full kitchen at this point. It would not make sense for me to rent at a place that includes meals since that cost is obviously included in the rent, making it about a $[removed]over the rent for an apartment with similar or greater square footage.

I want to tell you about our recent visit to "Verena at the Glen". My wife and I have friends who are residents.We were invited to lunch with them recently and I must say the food was delicious and the facility is beautiful. We were later introduced to [name removed] (the Resident Experience Director) when I informed her that I was a member of a musical trio. [name removed] was kind enough to hire us (the Wild Honey Trio) to perform at two of their monthly birthday celebrations where they acknowledge everyone who has a birthday during the month. They receive a small gift and we sing happy birthday to the group. Verena has become one of our favorite places to play music and the residents really enjoy themselves. as a band, we love it when the audience interacts with us by dancing, singing along and having a good time! We are excited for the next time we can return.

Overall I have to give all employees from the top down a 5. Everyone I've needed for one reason or another have always been pleasant and helpful. I don't use the fitness room but it always seems clean and there are some residents that use it every day. I like the pool. It's clean, the area around it is maintained so you don't have to worry about tripping on left behind equipment. There's plenty of activities, day trips, weekly entertainment & dances. I don't eat many meals at the veranda but the times I have they tasted fine. I have a 2 bedroom 2 bath on ground floor. Rarely do I hear noise from the apartment above me. The place was clean when I moved in and the best part is I have my own washer and dryer.

The space and environment at Verena is truly beautiful, welcoming, and thoughtfully designed. I’m impressed by the well rounded support and amenities they provide. It goes beyond a place for residents to call home. They offer nutritional meals, transportation, and social activities for their residents. I’ve had the pleasure of getting to know their executive director and team through our local chamber of commerce, and it’s wonderful to see firsthand the care their team has. I feel confident recommending anyone looking for a place with a dedicated team and exceptional care.

I’m so grateful there is a place like Verena. Not all senior living facilities are the same and Verena is different and a place you need to see for yourself. Seeing the community being out and about is a great place for someone one love to get connected.

So incredible, it was amazing to see how happy and inviting everyone was. The facility was very clean and there was an event going on when I visited.

Awesome place! Great staff. Looks like a great place to live and I love that everything is inclusive. Really cool to see the culture you guys have built!

I've serviced this facility and always find it clean and tidy. The staff is always energetic and so kind. I appreciate everytime I am there.

I recently visited my Nana here at Laurel Springs and I was amazed! My nana has never seemed so alive and well. Everyone here is so welcoming and generous. I wouldn’t have it any other way! Thank you Laurel Springs for all of your love!

I really liked this community it is super pretty and nice it is just what i would have dreamed of for my grandma! with the pool and the hot tub not to mention their activity calendar is uber packed it is epic!

We highly recommend this community to anybody who has a loved one who is interested in aging with dignity, access to engaging staff, and an enriched social life.

The Cottages of Monroe is the best place to reside EVER. Everyone is friendly and welcoming but our director makes the place what it is. Always willing to assist with any questions or concerns promptly and efficiently. She loves us like family. In fact we are family.

We came for a tour and are moving in tomorrow! The staff were fantastic and answered every question we had! [name removed] was great to work with and we met the manager [name removed] and [name removed]. All three were extremely kind and helpful. Every resident we spoke with and staff member seems very happy to be there!
