The facility will do for now, but it is definitely not our top choice for my dad. I feel that people overstep or are slow to respond to our needs. One time my daughter accidentally clicked my dad‘s emergency button and it took somebody 20 minutes to come in and check on him in the room. I don’t think this facility is top of the line but the price is good.

This is from the memory care unit view. Not enough attention if you want to stay in your room. If you like to socialize it's probably not too bad. They seem to do a pretty good job of getting the groups together in the afternoon and doing craft kinds of things mostly pointed toward the ladies.

The price and location were most important . Plus she can have her dogs. We would absolutely recommend Brookdale Stonebridge Ranch to others! They were very easy to work with when transitioning from rehab. [name removed]was great.

Over all experience 4 (the amount of submission paperwork was just way way too much. Need to get DocuSign or something. Otherwise excellent). Cleanliness 4 (room had ants by back door). Food 4 (he complained that some was too dry to eat). Value for the money 4 (had to pay [fee removed] admin fee plus for the five days before he died. He went downhill crazy fast).

The good, the caregivers in the memory care unit are very good. The bad is with 18 residents they need 3 caregivers and 1 med tech. Occasionally they will have 1 caregiver and 1 med tech.

I like the friendliness of the staff. However there have been a lot of bumps in the road. They've dropped the ball many times - no sheets on her bed when I arrive in the evening or partially made up, missing laundry even though her name is on everything, they take mom to meals in a wheelchair but I've seen instances where they don't place her walker close to her chair so she can use it, one instance where she only got dinner because I was there & found out she hadn't eaten, electrical issues in the sleeping area, meds ran out because they weren't ordered timely. There is also insufficient communication or response to family members. They try to pass it off as a learning curve but while mom is a new resident the facility isn't new & things should run more smoothly.

Sometimes coffee was cold. Medicines were not given on a doctor's note. The medical assistant did not enter doc's note into system that Friday and Nurse did not show up till Monday so my sister was not give the medicines prescribed by doc for that weekend. We were not happy. Coffee was given late, Food was not properly given on time, People will come for help after pressing the call button so many times. My sister lost a lot of weight after going there due to improper diet given. Also they have less staff and always defend themselves saying due to less staff we are trying to attend multiple residents and so it is taking time to attend my sister. They provided service but at the same time delay and quality of work matters.

My mom has been living at Brookdale Stonebridge Ranch for almost 6 years! She has been truly Blessed by all the excellent Executive staff, Med Techs, caregivers, housekeeping & maintenance employees over the years! They have such compassion & love for each resident! Everyone works together to make Brookdale truly feel like home! My mom is a social butterfly & so appreciate all the creativity & talent [name removed] puts into the ongoing list of fun activities & outside entertainment she coordinates! We also love all the seasonal & holiday decorations they have to brighten each resident’s spirits! Mom also enjoys going to the dinning room for breakfast, lunch & dinner! They have many items to choose from at each meal! Mom loves going to their on site beauty shop every week to have [name removed] make her beautiful! It truly puts our minds at ease knowing mama is being well taken care of at all times & engaged in so many fun activities! I would highly recommend them to you & your loved one!

Our mother has been an assisted living resident at Brookdale Stonebridge Ranch for six years now and loves the entire staff……from the Executive, Sales and Nursing Directors to the caregivers, social activities coordinator, maintenance and housekeeping staff. They are all highly committed to the mission of providing a high level of quality in every aspect of the community. The facility is clean, functional and well maintained. The social activities coordinator is very passionate about keeping the residents active and involved with arts and crafts projects, holiday themed parties and frequent musical entertainment. These activities are always well received by the residents and provide something for them to look forward to several days each week. The caregivers are highly dedicated and passionate individuals as well. They have always provided the maximum amount of care possible and are very conscientious in carrying out their duties. Brookdale Stonebridge is the place mom calls home.

Since arriving at Brookdale for my first visit and tour, I felt the warmth and care of the staff and management team. I had not been in an assisted care facility prior to that day, and certainly never contemplated this being a home for my mom. At 83 years old, my mom had some very specific needs and I wanted the very best for her as we all relocated to the McKiney area as a family. [name removed] was welcoming, knowledgeable, and limitlessly helpful throughout our journey to place my mom into a great facility. From room selection, to preparation, all was handled flawlessly and my mom has felt so special and appreciated along the way. I feel blessed to have the ability and opportunity to have mom cared for on a daily basis that meets all her needs. All our family members are regular visitors to Brookdale and it has been a great place for mom to be well taken care of and still have a sense of independence. That place was terrible and didn't work with us when we moved out. We were only there 30 days. My loved one fell and went into the hospital and they didn't check in to see how my loved one was doing. So uncaring in so many ways!! They never tried to get to know my loved one. I would tell others not to go here. They have been difficult to get the long term care insurance claim information turned in also...
