There were 3 things that convinced me that Gogir had really thought about the needs of seniors and none of those things had anything to do with activities. They were: 1. other than the secure memory care unit, all rooms were certified as both Independent and Assisted Living so that someone would not need to move if/when they needed more assistance; 2. The dinning room was open specific hours and people could come and eat anytime within those hours, there was no scheduled meal times so no rush or hordes of people wanting to eat at the same time; 3. They had a program for integrating new residents with current residents so no one would feel alone and was helped by peers to learn how to live and adjust to their new circumstances. The apartment size was pretty standard, as were the available activities, and the place was immaculately clean. Overall the facility is keep very clean.\nFinally she really likes her location because she's able to have her 55 lbs dog with her. So, no weight restrictions is why we chose Cogir of Broomfield.
