Review Rating: 5/5 Stars Choosing the right care for a parent is one of the hardest decisions a family can make, especially when miles separate you. Our mother, [name removed], has resided at Brookdale Scappoose for several years now. Since we live in Tennessee, it is incredibly important to us that the Brookdale staff care for her like family when we can’t be there. It brings us so much comfort to know that ALL of the staff treat her like family in our absence. They truly take the time to know her specific needs and special likes, ensuring she is comfortable and well-cared for at all hours of the day. When our visits end and we leave to head back home, we never have to worry about Mom’s care. She truly has an extended family environment at Brookdale Scappoose. If you are looking for a place where your loved one will be genuinely known, cherished, and safe, we cannot recommend Brookdale highly enough. They have given our family invaluable peace of mind.

They take great care of my parents and the food is really good. Friendly staff!

Friendly, caring staff that get to know the residents and their families. Familiar staff that have been there regularly (no high turnover). Meals are good quality and served with real plates, silverware and napkins. Patients are clean and tidy and we haven't noticed items missing from their rooms (at another prior facility his clothes items were disappearing and he would have on clothes we did not provide).

From what I've seen, the staff there are caring, gentle and attentive.

Brookdale Browns Creek is a small community that makes it feel like a family. The staff are always kind and responsive, and respectful of residents and their families.

The director, [name removed], was very nice and accommodating to all of our questions. She was friendly to everyone and addressed the residents by name. I would have no issue with recommending Brookdale.

Brookdale Punta Gorda has been a perfect selection for my cousin. She chose it for its homey, less institutional size. Now she likes the staff, food and social activities. She was reluctant to move from her long term home & now talks positively about the move.

The staff has been very helpful. The residents do a great job of welcoming new residents and take them under their wing to help them acclimate. The food seems to be good too

My daughter did research at different places for me. We chose this location because it was by far the best and being here for three years, it is still the most amazing. The staff is the most incredible and inspirational people who show us kindness, compassion and caring everyday. Our cleaning staff are the most dedicated and keep the building spotless. The servers are patient, friendly and easy to communicate. The menu/food has many varieties and flavors which is always good to the taste. Our specialty cooks behind the scenes are bon appetit. Our bus drivers are accommodating and beyond. From the directors and every single person who work here, I’m very grateful for all the million things they do for us. It is a blessing and a privilege to live here.

A nice place to live. It's pretty and well-kept. Administrative staff are excellent to work with and very friendly. I received excellent details about them.

Brookdale has provided my parents with a new home for the last four years. The staff are exceptionally caring and professional, the facilities are top notch, the activities and outings keep my parents young, the food is varied and delicious. We recommend Brookdale Glen Ellyn to anyone considering a new home for their parents or loved ones.

All good things about Brookdale Pearland. I fell in love with the trees. Tthe room sizes, amenities, activities and dining are ok I guess.

They loved my dad and took such great care of him, I could not have asked for better treatment of my dad.

Overall, my mom liked this place. I am not sure if it would suit her at this point. They are currently doing upgrades to the facility.

[name removed] greeted us immediately. He was cordial and professional. Spoke with us at length about our concerns and prospective clients needs. Explained levels of care snd criteria of each along with pricing and services. We were happy to see the variety on the menu. Many activities that we hope our family member would be interested in. Spoke about history of the facility and others we know who had been residents. Very much liked the wide and well lit corridors, spacious grounds and room layouts.

I was impressed with the discussion I had with [name removed]. She emphasized the importance of knowing my parent the best they can. They want his stay to be as interactive and engaging as possible, encouraging memories to keep him active and involved. It's evident they don't want him to "exist" but to "thrive" while under their care. That was super exciting!

It was a good experience/ my mom passed away when she was there and they were compassionate and helpful. No complaints. I would recommend to others

It was nice and very friendly and clean. A little pricey and had added fees. We will see where we move and I haven’t counted it out.

The team at Brookdale have been amazing to work with! The staff have been extremely friendly. My mom already has 2 or 3 favorites! Lots of activities: Bingo, trip to Walmart, trip to a wax museum in Cleburne. She is doing PT and gets her hair and nails done weekly! The facility is clean and there are several room options. It is a little 'pricy' but they have been easy to work with to remove monthly fees once my mom is able to do more things on her own. I am very happy with the choice I made to move her here and would highly recommend it to others~
