Brookdale

The staff is friendly and helpful. I helped my sister move to Brookdale during the summer of 2026. She has received all requested assistance from their staff. Multiple activities such as bingo occur each day. The meals are delicious. Food options are offered for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The resident living areas are continually cleaned by Brookdale staff to keep all rooms clean and inviting.

I can tell you about my very brief experience with Brookdale Shawnee. The staff person who I and my aunt and uncle spoke with initially and who gave us a tour was very kind, informative, and helpful. That has been my only interaction with the facility except for [name removed] who met with my great aunt (your tenant) while she was in skilled nursing. He was excellent and so good with her. I was very pleased with that much of the staff and of what all I saw of the facility.

Very nice facility. I really liked talking with [name removed] I was concerned about the double room that was available. The Sweet lady that would be my mom’s potential room mate was obviously a hoarder. [name removed] said they would be having her clean the area that would be my mom’s side of the room. Hoarding is a mental illness and cleaning up won’t fix that situation. So she may have another room my mom could be in. She will send me pics soon.

I thought the staff were most welcoming and the residents looked well cared for. Clean clothing and attention to grooming appeared excellent. All the residents rooms were a decent size and very clean. This facility has a lovely small home feel to it with lots of outdoor space to enjoy. Lots of activities listed for different interest and capabilities. When the time comes it will be high on my list for my husbands placement.

Wonderful staff. Nice facility. Clean and the residents are very happy. I would be happy to place my loved ones here.

The housekeeping team is excellent. Transportation and all the drivers are wonderful. I enjoy my experience in the dining room and really think the servers do an excellent job. The beauty shop does a great job and has a friendly hairdresser. The entertainment has lots of variety and social gathering a great way to meet new people

I give this community five stars for the events that they throw. I highly enjoyed the Hollywood Knights event. The decorations with the red carpet were wonderful. The entertainment was outstanding. I absolutely loved the meatballs shrimp and the fruit they know how to throw an event they know how to throw an event

When dealing with my mom's issues and helping guide her, my brother and me [name removed] has been absolutely amazing! My mother seems to be happy with others helping her and she in enjoying her meals. Thank you

Mom has a large, beautiful room, and the entire place is extremely clean. Most importantly, the staff is wonderful!

I would give them the highest rate in every category. They have been wonderful. My husband is doing better than I expected. He joins the group activities and has been on trips to local restaurants. He is doing really well. Cleanliness is top notch, atmosphere is relaxed and warm

Brookdale felt very homey. We would like to go back for a meal. We were disappointed when found out they had no rooms available at the current time.

This is a very nice facility. Staff was pleasant and involved. Facility was clean. Patients seemed happy.

I toured and ate lunch with the residents. All staff were friendly and engaged wih residents. Respect was obvious when I saw/heard an exchange The atmosphere was friendly and relaxed. I appreciated there was no pressure to make an immediate decision. It was a very pleasant experience considering the life changing decision I am making soon

After touring several senior homes for my mom, Brookdale Tequesta was one of our final stops. I instantly knew my mom would love it because it is small and has a wonderful, home-like feel. Meeting [name removed] completely sealed the deal. I knew right away that this was the perfect place for my mom. Even now, [name removed] continues to be incredibly helpful, always taking the time to answer any questions my mom has. Thank you, [name removed], for making this transition so smooth.

Great communication prior to and after our tour. Staff were all knowledgable and incredibly friendly also taking time to assess the needs of the potential resident. The tour was thorough and not at all rushed. Took all the time we needed to look around and ask questions. The potential resident decided after the tour that this is where she would like to be.

My husband and I went to the Brookdale Charlotte East apartments unexpectedly to see where it was located. I called [name removed] to tell her we were outside the facility and she called [name removed], the Director of Sales and Marketing. We weren’t scheduled for a visit, but [name removed] took the time out of her schedule to share extensively about the facility/property. [name removed], the Executive Director came and shared more with us. They were very friendly, cordial and welcoming, as were the concierge and some of the residents. It was a really great presentation, including the cost breakdown, and tour. The model apartment was beautiful and perfect. It is a very clean and very safe facility. Everything you need is there like transportation to dr appointments, grocery shopping, etc.. The next day, I brought my father and brother, unexpectedly and was warmly welcomed again. They also enjoyed the tour and very impressed. I would highly recommend Brookdale Charlotte East for you or for your loved one.

we will be residents later in September and look forward to spending time at the facility with the people we met.

The facility and the people working there, that I have met, from the top down, are caring, considerate, respectful and helpful. It is the complete and total opposite of what we experienced at the previous facility where she lived.

The facility is good. Staff friendly and attentive. Always have various activities and residents are always encouraged to participate. Facility is kept clean and rooms are good size. Residents are treated with respect and compassion!

We chose this facility because of its convenient location, cleanliness, and excellent personnel. The staff are wonderful and have been outstanding throughout our experience.
