Brookdale

5's all it's a fantastic place. [name removed] and [name removed] were unbelievably kind patient and knowledgeable. They are caring and calm. We were moving mom from an in home caregiver situation that just wasn't sustainable but the idea of leaving her home was hard for mom. They invited her to a few social events and they always met and helped her as she began to visit and slowly move a few items in. Unfortunately she didn't get to move in because an adult family home near her home suddenly had an opening and after lots of discussion and her driving the decision she ended up going there a week after she was scheduled to have movers mover her in. [name removed] and [name removed] were so understanding and kind they truly wanted mom to be in her best environment for her best life. They also recommended some movers and we used rr moving with [name removed] and [name removed]who were amazing. They ended up moving her to the adult family home a week later instead but they were outstanding. Completely made up her room and were professional and caring - I mean this whole think could have gone south at any time and I felt like everyone did their best everyone was focused on mom. I can't say enough about admiral heights it's absolutely a perfectly run facility. They were seamlessly handling everything and managing the process for me - I had shoulder surgery in the middle of all this too and I live on the east side of the state ... so remote management of everything was painless

Great community — moved my mom in last week! I have peace of mind that her meds are controlled and she is being fed regularly.

I thoroughly enjoyed my tour. It had a comfortable ambience, and my guide was enthusiastic. The facility was very nice.

They were extremely helpful. I live here in California and was managing everything for my cousin in Tennessee. I couldn't have done it without the kindness and professionalism from Bridget at Brookdale.

The staff goes out of their way to make each resident feel comfortable and special. The volunteers are equally special.

They've been excellent. Staff has been excellent. Mom is making friends, her appearance is improved (neatly groomed, dressed, etc), she's participating in activities, and she has her piano in her apartment. She has their mid-sized apartment, about 300sqf which has a bedroom area and a sitting room.

I would give all a 5! She loves it there, she is happy, busy and earing well. She is in a small apartment that she really likes instead of a studio like she had a Grand Villa. She says she is gaining weight bc the food is good. The staff knew her name from day one and seems very interested in all of her care, the cleaning staff included. 5 stars all the way!

Everyone is very friendly. They keep us busy in doing different activities. I like karaoke and bingo. It would be fabulous to have more residents come to the theater and watch movies. I look forward to the popcorn :)

We feel pretty lucky to have found a good match for mom. She is settling in and thriving... Staff greets me by name and have a pulse of what's going on with my mom. There are a lot of activities and they encourage her to sign up and then help remind her to participate. Mom is making friends. It feels like a close knit community.

My experience with Brookdale has been very positive. The staff is trained to redirect residents, which is especially important for someone living with Alzheimer’s. [name removed] receives physical therapy and has a palliative care physician involved in his care. A podiatrist visits every three months, and the memory care community has an activity director who makes an effort to involve him in activities and outings. The food is good, and they provide snacks. There is also a secure outdoor area with flowers, raised vegetable beds, tables, and benches where residents can enjoy being outside safely. [name removed] personal care needs are being handled well. Staff change his briefs and clothes when needed, and he has had no issues with diaper rash. His laundry is done regularly, his clean clothes don’t smell, and both his apartment and the common areas are kept clean. I also appreciate the consistency of the staff and the communication about his care. After his 30-day reevaluation, Brookdale contacted me about changes to his care plan, and because he is now needing less care, his monthly cost was reduced. I recently had a birthday party for [name removed] there, and several of the aides stopped in and talked about him. That meant a lot to me and showed that they know and care about him as an individual. Most importantly, [name removed] seems happy there. He has even started humming again, and he is responsive to the staff. I feel much more relaxed knowing he is being cared for, and I no longer have to handle all of his daily care needs myself. Overall, I’m very pleased with Brookdale and the care [name removed] is receiving.

My mom has been living here for 9 years. Since [name removed] became Director of this facility it has been amazing. The staff take care of our mom as if she was their own mama. We couldn’t be more please with everything and we know she is still with us because of the care and love she receives. Thank you!!

Apt. size is just right for her, 320 sq ft, I think. Single bed, bedside table, 2 recliners, long dresser, small chest of drawers. Care is hard to assess. She tells me complaints, but is often confused, so I'm not sure what is accurate. She is being seen by Seniority (not sure if you are familiar) for BLE swelling, have not gotten that under control for couple of weeks. Food must be good, people congregate in the common area, and as soon as the dining room lights go on, there is a virtual (slow speed) stampede to the dining area. The chef [name removed] is very personable. There are activities that I see residents participating in, but mom is a hermit, and does not join in.

Overall 5 stars - the room is a little small when three of us come to visit but that is not often. Jan is very happy with the food and activities and the entire staff is really responsive. The whole place is very clean.

I would rate it a 5 for all. Great experience so far. The sales side was low pressure and very informative. The director is very involved and is on weekend rotation and even she does activities with the residents. It's very comforting that she's involved at all levels. The facility is clean and well maintained. We especially love the size with 42 rooms. My mom feels very at home and isn't just a number.

As soon as I met the admissions director, [name removed], she put me instantly at ease. The process on Brookdales end went very smoothly. The only snag was on the doctors end trying to get them to complete the paperwork.

My mom [name removed] recently moved here a few months ago. The staff is lovely and food is delicious. Turns out my mother’s old neighbor is here too. It made her transition that much more enjoyable. We are glad we made this move.

The staff is amazing. Every interaction has been professional, friendly, and efficient. The room size is perfect for my needs, and the food is great. I also really appreciate having the option for meal delivery, which is very convenient. Overall, I’ve had a very positive experience.

The Brookdale staff is absolutely amazing—every member of the team is kind, caring, and helpful. The activities are wonderful, with a great variety of options for everyone. The food is excellent, and the apartment size is just right. Cleanliness is exceptional, and the entire community is very well maintained. I truly cannot say enough good things about Brookdale. My loved one has made a wonderful home there and has built a great family and many meaningful friendships. We are very grateful for the care and welcoming environment.

The director [name removed] is wonderful. I first toured this home last year. [name removed] answered all my questions on the tour. As well as any texts I sent. She made the transition really smooth. My mom has transitioned well. I don't really know much about how the food is yet. The room is small but really is enough for my mom. I would definitely recommend this place.
