Brookdale

Everyone we spoke with at a place for mom was great we wouldn't have found a place for my dad without your help. Brookdale is a nice place and very helpful staff for my dad. His apartment is great for him we really like it.

The hardest part was keeping track of all the places I went and what they offered. It was also difficult to have many people calling me from A Place for Mom. At all the places people were kind. My parents finally chose Brookdale Chatfield. The staff are amazing. They had someone assigned to them when they arrived to help with the move after they moved in. This helped with getting rid of boxes and hanging pictures plus helping to acclimate to a new way of living. The place is clean and residents are happy Chatfield tried to do all they could to help them feel at home. I would say that my parents have complained that food isn't as good as it used to be when they first arrived. They also miss [name removed] who was let go as positions were rearranged and hers was cut. Other than that, Chatfield has been a great place for them and I really appreciated all the help from A Place for Mom who help to set everything up for me to visit and help to make sure my parents made the best choice for them.

The staff is why we chose Brookdale. When you walk in there is a young lady at the desk. Sooo friendly!! Three office doors off the foyer and most of the time the doors are open. The residence where fobs around their neck with a button they push that alert staff that they need something. Even if it's a simple as the resident can't get their TV on, they will come and turn their TV on for them. The food there is nothing special, but it is nutritious. We allow my mom to have secondary items of food that she can supplement what she's getting there her room is perfect for her small enough room for a bed her large recliner a large dresser with her TV on it etc. she already knows some people there so that's good. They're activities ongoing daily. They even take residence on outings to Walmart, Kroger, etc.. My brothers and sister are happy so far.

All of the staff is great, they inform me how she is doing. They are all very nice and treat mom with respect. Mom seems very comfortable there. I would recommend them to others who are searching for care for their loved one.

Shortly after my mother moved in, her health declined. The staff helped me as I navigated her issues and we were able to keep her from being hospitalized or moved to memory care. Her room was pleasant and clean. The other residents were friendly and the atmosphere was welcoming. The aides tried their best to please my mother and I am thankful for their help during a stressful time.

Appreciated [name removed] coming in on a Saturday. Very informative. Helpful in describing the facility and the programs. Good ambassador. The facility was in great shape. The room was quite adequate. Residents appeared to be engaged. Given the early line-up for lunch, I suspect that the food was good. I have visited many facilities in my work. This was in the top 10%.

My tour with [name removed] went very well. She is knowledgeable and answered many of my questions and offered additional tips. The tour of the facility was just what I needed to help me find a new home for my mom.

The staff was very pleasant and were busy performing their duties. Facility was a older building but was well maintained, very clean and organized.

Everyone has been very helpful and nice. Apartment is kind of dark because of the screened in porches on the back. I think they could spend some more money on landscaping and cleaning the carpets food has been OK.

Everything is Excellent!! ... and this is the 3rd facility I've had exposure to. The care is good, the staff is incredibly helpful. The sales agent continues to be available for any questions or concern I may have. I've also spoken with the main administrator, two head nurses and the business office. All have been incredibly informative and helpful. The facility is older, but well maintained. My father loves the food which has been a real problem at other places.

I liked the place so much that I chose to live there after touring the facility. Everyone was very freindly and the other residents seemed to be very happy living there.

The staff is very friendly and attentive. The facility is kept quite clean. The food is poor quality and the cooks are not very good. My apartment is one of the biggest and is great. The grounds are kept beautiful and there's lots of places to walk and sit outside.

My grandfather has been at Brookdale for a month so far. The staff are all very nice. His room is perfect size for just what he wanted. Food is actually pretty good. I have ate with him a few times. Everyone is very friendly there and they make you feel like family. I would recommend the community to others.

My brother was only a resident from July 2025 until January 2026. It was an emotional move for him to move away from his children. He settled in and found his place with help of the people who worked there. He spent most of his traveling back and forth to the VA hospital for treatments. He loved the size of his room mostly, that is what made him choose Brookdale. Everything he needed was easily accessed. His biggest complaint was the food and getting things fixed in his room. They seemed to have high turnover of help. As far as price, of course it would help if they didn't have to increase the rent every 6 months. They give you a price (deal) so called, and then turn around and raise the rent after 6 months. I felt he was very safe and looked after living there.

All the staff are very kind and caring to all the residents.

My Dad loved the activities, food and apartment size. We would recommend Brookdale Falling Creek community to other families based on the experience we have had.

The tour guide made me feel very comfortable and she was extremely encouraging and enthusiastic… they invited me to share lunch and I was able to meet some residents.

This was my 2nd visit I am again very pleased and comfortable with staff and facility! I had numerous questions which were all answered to my satisfaction! I personally feel I would be very comfortable here in my senior years! Next step for me is to discuss with my G. P. Doctor in mid October!

Extreme pleasant staff. Organized. Detailed. Willing to answer any questions we had. Even moved us from one apt. To another one that was closer to the door to get our puppy out.
